Question I have an account. Every time I connect the holes to vacuum everything comes through and right back into the pool. It’s a 55,000 gallon with a 420 cartridge pentair clean and clear pulse. I have taken everything apart to see if anything is damaged inside the filter tank. And everything inside seems to be good. The only thing I can think of is the top lid of the filter tank seems too long for a 420.. and I would assume with the pool with this mini cabinet it should have 520. Please me thank in advance.

Is the standpipe o-ring good in the filter tank? Bottom and top manifold no cracks at all?

Did you also inspect the filter cartridges themselves fully to make sure each one doesn't have any significant damage or is badly worn out? How is the condition of the cartridges?

It might be the wrong cartridges were installed. Seen that before.
