i smoked cigarettes for 7 years, even with asthma. When i quit i was having severe chest pains, constant breathing trouble and tons of asthma attacks. I started smoking cannabis on a friends recomendation. My lungs have felt perfect ever since, i start wheezing when i smoke but it ends soon

Is neurogenesis memory loss ? Chronic use of cannabis can stimulate neurogenesis ( good brain cell growth ) first in the hippocampus area of the brain where forgotten or lost memories are stored like the recycle bin of your PC , it helps remember and cope with our memories not forget. Are you saying when we are remembering forgotten memories we are forgetting ? Forgetting what ?

I'm not a daily smoker. I smoke every now and then but don't see any difference in my asthma. Do I have to smoke more often? And also some people say smoking it leaves carcinogens in your lungs and harms it. Is that true?

you might do better with a sublingual glycerin based cannabis tincture. very good for body/pain relief, sleep, bliss, cellular regeneration ... Additionally, vaporization can be used for fine tuning effects. The tincture/vape combo is great for dialing-in effective dose as needed. bonus::very cost-effective hiROI. for a total cellular upgrade try eating raw superfoods with the above combo in small consistent doses tip: keep a journal for 42 days noting how you feel as U go. food 4 thought =)

Dear Doctor Mechoulam, do you have some positive results in curing OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder)? And which percentage of THC and CBD would be present in a sort of marijuana, which could help to fight with OCD symptoms?

I think next year I will get a prescription for my Asthma. These new inhalers do nothing for me. A good hot pot of coffee works but who wants to drink a entire pot of coffee at 2:00 am. I wonder if my insurance will pay for the Vaporizer? 200$ or 300$ bucks out of pocket plus weed is a pain. I have used a lot of weed in the past but I never realized that may be why my mom sucks on her Primatene Mist so much and I don't. Asthma is not a joke. It is like drowning very slowly.

Weed caused my psychosis. Wish I never picked up that bullshit.
@MetalOfSweden
@MetalOfSweden 6 жыл бұрын
it was in your genetics already, and would get triggered anyway during your lifetime, and could be triggered by anything basically, not just "substances"/drugs :)
@hexxan007
@hexxan007 6 жыл бұрын
MetalOfSweden is partly right. Cannabis (especially strains with high THC and low CBD rates) CAN trigger psychosis, but only if you already are "pre-designed" for that. But it is not SURE that you would have gone psychotic during your life anyway even if you hadn't been taking weed, although the occurrence of psychotic episodes would have been rather likely. But there's another aspect to cannabis and psychosis. Under 5000+ years, humanity has used cannabis also as an entheogenic, a medium to come into contact with the divine, with gods and spirits of nature. In our times, many people try weed just for the kick of it. They might not even believe in spirits of nature, and are often totally unaware of the intrinsic dangers and responsibility connected with the use of an entheogenic. When the connection with the divine is made, even if it is "by accident", this is a life-changing event. When unaware people then suddenly start experiencing strange thoughts and feelings, maybe even start seeing angels and demons or talk to trees, they are very likely to get scared about what's happening to them and almost everybody in their environment, including parents and doctors, just has one answer to what's going on: ah, yeah, sure, psychosis. This is even more true in countries where the use of cannabis is suppressed and condemned and where spirits of nature are considered fairy tales. Of course it is hard to tell whether your psychosis is "medical" or "spiritual", whether you need medication or meditation, but this information might give you a broader perspective on what's happened to you. I do fervently hope so and wish you all the best.
