What upset me a lot was that they removed their helmets when they were giant which should not happen because in the first movie that made a point on multiple occasions that they would die if they weren’t wearing helmets when altering size.

Nah they only have to have the helmets on WHILE they're shifting. So it's safe to take them off as long as they put them back on before shrinking / growing again. They defo didn't forget -- it's kinda subtle but it comes up in the final fight with Kang. The first thing Kang did was smash Scott's helmet so he couldn't shrink or go giant. That's why Scott was trying to beat Kang in a normal fist fight, even though he was getting his ass handed to him. He didn't just suddenly forget his suit. I thought that was a pretty cool touch

You know I just realized something. In the trailers it was implied that Scott would be convinced to work for Kang after he offers him the the opportunity to make up for lost time with his daughter, basically he'd be given the same deal Kang offered Janet. Having been incarcerated and then trapped in the Quantum Realm for 5 years he effectively missed her entire childhood and now he's watching her follow in his footsteps, making the same mistakes he did when he was younger. It would be a much better conflict if Scott had to come to terms with the fact that he missed out on her growing up and that he had to accept things as they were despite their relationship not being ideal. Too bad that isn't the movie we got. What a missed opportunity...

I never believe them when they say they just happened to have race-blind casting. Everything has a reason behind it. In this case, they didn't want to cast a yt guy as a "conqueror". Also having a yt actor play Rama-Tut, an Egyptian ruler, would have been another touchy subject. They should have just recast T'Challa or introduced more original blk characters like Night Thrasher instead of using blk ppl for their agendas.

Hasn’t Hollywood pretty much enforced that no “POC” can be a major villain in any of their movies anymore? I wouldn’t be surprised if (through multiple movies and series) they create a Character Arc for Kang, that essentially makes him the ultimate savior of the multiverse. “He only became a villain through trying to stop the ultimate Evil in the multiverse”.
