@@jackhanver1420 Strap in, this is gonna be a LOOONNGG story. Kang the conqueror travels back in time to visit his teenage self, he shows him his future as the conqueror in hopes of making himself more powerful. Not liking what he's seeing the younger Kang steals his older self's tech and travels back in time to try and get the Avenger's help but he arrived when the Avengers dissasembled, sneaking into an old Avengers storage facility he discovers the Vision's destroyed body. He combines Kang's tech and Vision's tech togather to make an armour becoming Iron Lad. And just like Kang's tech the Iron Lad armour is neuro-kenetic (this will be important later). Later the old Kang finds Iron Lad and fights him and the Young Avengers, since the Iron Lad armour was part Kang tech Kang managed to rip the armour off Iron Lad, ultimatley Iron Lad deciedes to go to the future in order to preserve the timeline, not before confessing to Cassie and kissing her. The Iron Lad armour that was left behind becomes sentient and becomes a new Vision and since it connected to Iron Lad's brain it has a copy of Iron Lad's personality. This new Vision (later naming itself Jonas) goes on to date Cassie.

The fact that Scott even took a second to recognize his own daughter with a different face was unexpected... Speaking of which, I don't mind the recasting for Cassie, again, but Kathryn Newton did a fantastic performance that really earned what I liked about the movie.

Newton did fine, but there was no reason they couldn't have kept Emma Fuhrmann as Cassie and saved Kathryn Newton for another character going forward. You can't even convince me it was because she's a bigger star; this is Marvel we're talking about, they made a movie about C-List character Shang-Chi with unknown celebrity Simu Liu headlining the film and it made over $400 million during the middle of a pandemic. That's not a slight against Liu or Shang-Chi or even Kathryn Newton, I'm just saying that if this studio could turn a profit with the deck stacked against them like that on more than one occasion, they should have felt comfortable enough to keep Emma on as Cassie and saved Newton for a different Young Avenger or even an X-Men member.
