Fun fact about Victor Timely. Once upon a time, there was an old comic book company, they published the first issue of Captain America back in the 1940s. A few decades after that Timely Comics changed their name to Marvel Comics. So I'm really interested in seeing what happens with Victor Timely, especially because there's never been a Kang variant with that name.

I felt the same way about this movie. Heard it was bad going into it, but ended up liking it. I think that "No way home" just set the bar really high for the next phase or two of movies before Avengers 5. I just can't wait to see what they do with the X-men personally. Great reaction as always!

People say that Kang in Quantumania was underwhelming, and I could see that the first part, but in reality Kang is weakened in this film. A lot of people don't really understand that. Kang is weakened because he is in the Quantumn Realm. Now, if Kang was outside of the Quantumn Realm and had access to time, then Kang would have been more capable and more powerful like traveling through time, manipulating time, and summoning any weapon from any point in time just like in the comics. And I liked how they did this because it proves that a weak Kang, or even the weakest Kang, can be a big threat, like how Kang conquered the Quantumn Realm, like a whole dimension basically, a weakened Kang conquered a whole dimension. It just goes to show the capability of Kang, and I hope that they can expand on this Kang stuff like every Kang after the one in Quantumania will be stronger and stronger just showing the danger of Kang as a whole.

Alriiiighty lets goooo!! Jonathan Majors' acting was incredible as Kang. He was the best part of the movie, and stole every scene he was in Feel like it would've had more meaning and weight if Scott had been left trapped in the Quantum Realm

Thanks for this reaction! I saw this in the theater, and my thoughts on it were much like yours. To me it was fun, and watching Kang get overrun with giant wise ants was something special. I didn't mind Darren/MODOK's redemption itself -- it's the kind of thing I like to see -- but it definitely could've been handled better. The film suffered a bit from sub-par writing and direction. As for Cassie, I think I can understand her friction with Scott a little. In a previous film, she'd expressed a longing to be her dad's partner, and have his back out in the field. I get the feeling she was looking forward to doing superhero stuff with him once she grew up, so Scott's retirement from the hero biz was a let-down for her. I'm off to see Guardians 3 tomorrow. Looking forward to your reaction to that, too!

I'm assuming Elijah Bradley is too--Isaiah's grandson, whom we met in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Elijah Richardson, the actor who plays Elijah Bradley was born in 2002, Wil Deusner, Hulk's son, Skarr, was also born in 2002. Kathryn Newton was bon in 1997--these actors are already in their 20s. When the MCU finally gets around to making "the Young Avengers" most of the actors, their characters rather, will be around the age the first team of Avengers were when they fought Loki in New York. I'm going to assume that the MCU is going to recast Chris Hemsworth's daughter, but you never know, I guess. Gorr's daughter is Singularity, right? Before she took form, she looked like Singularity. Anyway, I don't see the young Avngers being so young when they come together. I just see the next team of Avengers, coming into for the next generation wiping the slate completely clean.

I hate the Ant-Man suit in this movie. Ant-Man's suit withstood blast from Kang's ships, Kang's own blast, but when he gets beat up by Kang, then his suit breaks. They made Ant-Man's suit durable to the point where it didn't make sense.

Scott’s book is actually something you can preorder now. It’s dropping early September. My favorite funny moments were @3:49-@4:04, @10:00-@10:07, @18:04, @29:57, and @30:05-@30:11. Three things in particular that I liked about this film: 1.) Scott and Hope now have portable suits. 2.) No matter the situation, Scott’s driving force is his daughter Cassie. 3.) The final fight between Scott/Ant-Man vs. Nathaniel/Kang. They didn’t say her codename, but Cassie in her suit is known as Stature. I feel like the citrus scene is a callback to Scott needing orange slices after getting a double whammer from Iron Man and War Machine. We didn’t get to see Scott’s friends in this movie, but Veb was portrayed by David Dastmalchian - the same actor who portrayed Kurt. Jentorra was portrayed by Katy O’Brian, the same actress who portrayed Elia Kane in The Mandalorian. Parts of this movie gave me Star Wars, Guardians, TRON: Legacy, and Avatar vibes all at once. The first post-credit scene showcases the Council of Kangs. The three variants that spoke in order of appearance were Rama-Tut, Centurion, and Immortus. There was one variant who teleported wearing a suit and tie. He’s known as Mr. Gryphon. This paves the way to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. What I’m about to say is a rumor. I’d take it with a grain of salt, but in the event that they end up making a second season of Moon Knight they’ll consider making Rama-Tut the next main villain. As for the second post-credit scene, I don’t know if Victor Timely is a member of the council and I definitely don’t know if Mobius regained his memories or not, but for now I’ll take comfort knowing he and Loki are working together again. The adventure continues in Loki season 2, and you’ll be happy to know that we finally have a release date. It’ll premiere on Friday, October 6. They also announced that Maya Lopez’ solo series Echo will premiere on Wednesday, November 29. All episodes are expected to drop that day.

Cassie was angry with Scott because ha wasn't doing anything. He was a superhero that had stopped saving people, only living on his repuration. She ia a teenager who want to change the world and know that her dad can help, but he isn't doing it. So I understand her frustration with him. He on the other side finally has a family and a clean life and don't want to risk it. But he is bad at talking to her about that.

I do think this is one of the weaker Marvel movies but still enjoyable. I think time will tell if the direction of the MCU is moving up or down, but I just take each movie on its own, and when I compare it to some of the DCEU movies, this is still better.

I think they really should have kept the alternate ending with Scott being trapped in the Quantum Realm and Kang escaping. I think it really would've also added a new interesting level of threat and wonder in the movie (but also probably a whole slew of other complications as well the MCU would not want to deal with) if...if...when everyone returned home, but especially Scott, lots of time passed by on Earth. So, what felt like they were only there a few days at most was actually many decades on Earth...or even have Scott end up in a different timeline, LOL! To be honest, I thought Cassie came across as a real arrogant brat in this movie and I did not like her at all. I liked this movie a lot more than some other people did, but I also felt it did fall short of being what it could've been. I liked it enough that I thought it got a lot of undeserved hate I could not understand why. I actually liked it more than the previous sequel. But, at the same time, I also admit I did not like different things this movie did and thought it had more potential to be much better. I think they should not have revealed M.O.D.O.K.'s face under the armor and he seemed a bit too goofy in the movie and changed sides too quickly and also seemed like an Avengers superfan. But, he did not bother me that much. I think the MCU needs to back off on some of the humor. But, I did think it was an admirable start to Phase 5. I think it was just so different than the other Ant-Man movies that it probably stood out too much and that's why it got a bad rap. I will say there was not enough Kang in it until near the end.

I agree on Scott being trapped. But, I think Kang getting killed was the better choice. It sets the presentence that Kang himself isn't the big bad of the Multiverse Saga like we originally thought, but the idea of Kang. Infinity Sage had one big bad in Thanos. The Multiverse Saga has an army of Kangs as the big bad.

Cool whoever enjoyed it, but I thought it was hands down the worst MCU film to date... and Ive seen Love and Thunder. It just had nothing that made the other two good, quantum realm might as well have been just another alien world from Guardians of the Galaxy since the novelty of shrinking has gone out the window. Modok... Jesus, what wasn't cringe about that? Since when did Cassie suddenly become a bratty super genius that can build quantum transmitters in a basement? MCU has a habit of making EVERYONE a superhero... which makes it less interesting. Can't anyone just be normal? What next? Make Luis a scroll? Not to mention Cassie and everyone was obnoxiously ungrateful considering what Scott Lang contributed to Endgame. "What are you doing now?" Uh, what does he need to be doing? Causing trouble with cops(been there, done that), or hold up picket signs? Protesting and getting arrested is not gonna help the homeless. Hell, some homeless would love 3 hots and a cot. Sorry, this movie was just not good imo.
