That wasn't a song lol 😂. Antakshari is a game in which a person starts singing and when he finishes, the other person has to sing a song starting with the alphabet that the previous person finished his song with. SO this was basically a medley of old bollywood songs 😂. There are so many songs in this movie and each one is a masterpiece. Yet somehow Korbin managed to find an Antakshari scene from the movie instead of a song 😂

I was curious if they would recognize any of the songs. At least the Mr. India song which they liked. I think they've seen the Jewel Thief song as well. Without the context though it likely didn't click. A lot of the songs are from popular i.e. non-classic 70's/80's movies which they wouldn't have heard.

Game of Antakshari - Where for instance You start a Song 'Aa Ja' and Stop for your opponent with Last 'Word' in this Case 'Ja' - So Salman started the New Song with Word 'Ja - Mujhe na ab yaad Aa Tu' - So he stopped at 'TU' She will Sing totally new song but must Start with 'Tu'. Listen the ending of each Artist and you will Understand - We used to Play in Schools. Trust me I was Good at It too... 😉😉😉

As others have explained, they were playing a game. The interesting thing here is that through the songs, the characters were conveying their feelings for each other. This kind of a big mashup of songs is called a medley. Bollywood stopped doing it a while ago. Recently, in Rocky aur Rani there was a medley after a long time which made people nostalgic.

For Bollywood classics - I highly recommend the movie - Gupt - starring Bobby Deol, Kajol and Manisha Koirala in main leads. The music is phenomenal including the background music. The movie is a murder mystery and a suspense thriller.

How is "Our reaction to stupid videos" channel doing? Been 2 years now, and I am still waiting for this BEST CHANNEL ON KZbin to react to some meaningful Indian videos. This channel has completely gone down the drain and has made QUANTITY over QUALITY (As Rick himself had responded to one of my earlier comments that they react to 800 videos per year!). Yes Rick, it's now more about quantity than quality. There was a time when I was hooked on to this channel and would visit it 50 times a day. Now, I come here once in 2 to 3 months to see if there's anything meaningful. But all I continue to find is one trash after the other.

Call it a game or a time pass fun, when friends or family are together in India, they play Antakshari which is basically a singing competition between two groups or persons. And the rule is that one has to pick a letter where the singer from other side has stopped singing, and start Immediately a new song. One song must be sung once. No repeat. No much waiting. If you can't do this you lose. In this song, they not only sing songs, they also convey to each others their feelings through the lyrics. So, at the end of the last song the girl admits her love for him by singing "I love you" !!!

It’s the best collage of really good songs from the old Hindi movies.. I will definitely recommend all of Sooraj Bharjata’s movies but not sure whether it will sync with u guys or not .. i will also recommend 2 of my super favourite Amrish Puri’s movies out of his uncountable classic movies as you guys love him a lot - Ghatak( it will give you an intro to another legend Sunny Deol also ) and Ram Lakhan ( best ensemble of classic villains along with Madhuri Dixit , Jackie Shroff n Anil Kapoor )

Man, you guys took me on a nostalgia trip. I was a kid when this movie was released, and then Bhayashree (the heroine) was somebody all men and boys were enchanted by, and Salman was someone the girls swooned over. Unfortunately, Bhagyashree decided to get married and insisted on only doing movies opposite her husband, who flopped miserably, thus ending such a promising career.

This is a fun family game they play in the movie. It consists of several famous Hindi songs from the 60s, 70s and early 80s. It was sung by SPB and Lataji and almost all the female songs were actually sung by Lataji in her prime!

We used to play antakshari in our family gettogether as well and include any language actually… you start with a song and sing 2 lines or 4 and stop, and the other team starts with the sound you stopped at for example if you just end it as “spinning round” from the song “fool on the hill” the other team starts off with a song starting with the sound “d” and goes on and on like that… till you’re not able to come up with a song in like 5 secs or so… usually it never stops. We just get tired or it’s getting late! 😀 those days we used to love this song as we related to this except the flashy dresses and colors… 🙈

Antakshari= ant meaning last akshar means alphabet, So they are playing antakshari, here we sing songs from last alphabet. So if last hearabke sound of alphabet is a we will sing sing which will start with sound a. The team which fails to sing song in stipulated time loses the game.

SPB voice was an alternative to Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu voices that were heard often in 90s. His voice worked out again for Salman Khan in Hum apke.... . But in south (tamil) there were more voice changes for actors. SPB, Malaysia Vasudevan, KJ Jesudoss, Mano etc. would come in the list. The voices would be different but would be well matched with the actors. Kamal Hassan will sing for himself one song in his film. Dil Diwana would have been a better choice from this film.
