Why patient should use a crutch? I know that it can help to alleviate the pain. I need any other related reason, especially biomechanical reasons. I'm glad to know your idea. Thanks.

is there a way to correct this? last year i had a very bad L4 disc herniation that required surgery(microdiscectomy) i had this antalgic gait before the surgery. after my surgery it went away and i felt great and brand new again up until yesterday when i strained my lower back somehow and now the gait has returned. it's back again. my torso is leaning left and my muscles are very weak and in certain motions my spine locks up and i can't get past the pain. and i honestly don't know how to correct this gait
