Antartica is one of my favourite Vangelis albums. His layers of rich sound beautifully evoke the frozen landscape. A wonderful performance, Hugo. Folk don't realise what it takes to breakdown the music of these fabulous composers to rebuild it in such an inspring way as you have done here.

Hello Dear Hugo, WOW, I can seriously hear Vangelis! I ‘knew’ Vangelis when I was about 10 years old, and I thought it was magnificent. Later, of course, I would go on to play his music myself. However, I never met him personally, even though I grew up with his work. Perhaps he’s the reason I eventually became a composer and sound designer? But your cover-honestly, I think it’s beautifully played. Especially your timing, which is spot-on, just like Vangelis mastered so well. Oh, those final deep and full notes really move me and evoke memories from my youth, when I bought one of my very first CDs: Antarctica. Best regards, Leroy, composer from the Netherlands.

He is primarily using the Alesis Fusion 8HD synthesizer. I own two and they are phenomenally powerful audio synthesis systems. Not very common and not many sold before Alesis discontinued them years ago. Glad to see their capabilities on display here.
