Blade Runner was a brilliant discussion of the “human condition”. All these memories will be lost, like tears in the rain. The Danish National Symphony never disappoints.

I love the Blade Runner movie and have seen it many times (including its original run in theaters). However, the philosophical underpinnings have always bothered me. That is, the replicant kills his 'creator' because the replicant is destined to die. I have seen this movie as a bitter diatribe against God, in protest of the brevity of life. Yet, the truth is that death is a mercy of God, that we might know Him. By way of contrast, heaven is perfect and there is no death there. There is also no lying nor stealing. Do you see the problem? If you have lied and stolen, you are not fit to gain heaven. Yet, Christ died on a Cross so that you may be the goodness of God. Unless you are born again, you will dwell with human corruption forever - the kind of corruption that glorifies the concept of murdering their Maker. God is good. Death and pain are reminders that something is wrong and that problem must be remedied within our lifetime. I hope that you will get to know Christ. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

We didn't really have a wedding party, I and my best man (my brother) went, then the maid of honor, finally we had fairy girls (instead of a flower girl) our nieces, and our two nephews were the ring bearers.
