The Antec Nine Hundred was my first "cool" PC case after years of beige boxes in the 90s and early 2000s. It really did change the game. I had so many boring cases with one or two tiny 80-90mm fans. Then with SLI and multi core CPUs starting to take off in the mid 2000s, the case cooling started to really matter. Once I finally went from just a box to the 900, it was like night and day difference.

Full height Extended-ATX tower with six quickly removable internal vibration-dampening hard drive mounts, six external 5¼ bays, lots of fans that were well-positioned, and the power supply mount accommodated both ATX and workstation sizes. Adjustable feet for stability, too. I think it cost about $300 in 1998. I love their diagnostic tool for power supplies, recommended.

I bought the ANTEC PF1 two months ago as a part of my first pc build, former laptop user, partly based on what y’all’s review of it. As a newbie builder I wanted something easy to work with and the temp display and interior space drew me to make that choice. Temp display is aight. I like the aquarium look but dudes something about a front to back case has always made me want one. I love it and I have become more comfortable working inside it as the weeks have passed. I maxed out the fans, LFIII with three fans in exhaust on top, three on the shroud as intake/recirculating, three on the front as intake and one in the rear as exhaust and haven’t tried other configurations since it keeps my gpu well below 75C during most games I play. Usually less than 70C. Also I was a little hesitant initially to start fucking shit up since it worked. I will be tinkering when I get back home with the fan setup to see if anything changes, just for the fun of it. Yes that’s confidence right there. I know y’all are busy with all the ASUS bull recently, but I really appreciate the content and the help during my decision making process.

My very first build was in an Antec Sonata case. That case was replaced by the Antec 900 when it came out. Not only did Antec make extremely well built cases (the Sonata was a real show piece with a paint job better than you'd find on a modern car), they made some of the best power supplies on the market. IMO, during this time period, the only power supplies that were arguably better than Antec's were PC Power & Cooling units. After many years of service, my Antec power supply was taken out of use due to the fact that I outgrew it, not because it failed. So glad to see Antec making a comeback. If they still have the same commitment toward quality and customer service, they'll have my business back for sure.

Love seeing what Antec is doing now! Their new PSUs seem pretty interesting, and I want to get the ARGB C8 as soon as the White one is available (the black ARGB C8 is). Great to see more options in the space that are competitive

I’m still using an old Antec 900 for my PC. Been starting to look at a possible upgrade/replacement due to my build (graphics card) having outgrown the case. Glad to see that Antec is going to have new case options because I really like the Antec 900

Antec were the GOAT back in the day. I think a lot of my PSUs in my builds were Antecs. And my friend picked up a Lanboy back in the day when we were building his system. I was really impressed with the features vs the typical beige box the rest of us were used to.

I remember my first PC my dad built for me was in an antec, antec psu too I think, the PSU eventually gave out (was only a bronze) but the case never had any issues including fans, i/o, cd disk port, etc Glad they're making a comeback, if they make some modern retro cases I'd 100% buy one to make my old man a PC, he still talks about how great antec cases were every time we chat about cases

I own both the Antec 1200 and the Antec DF85 which are both right next to me in older builds, 2008, 2012, rocking intel cpus. They stopped making great cases, but their cases were revolutionary when it came to having removable filters, granted the antec 1200 is a pain to remove the filters, the DF85 is much easier why they didnt keep making great cases is probably mystery you are about to unveil. Interesting to see theirs no filters in these cases, ehhh.

Antec is back! My current PC is built into an Antec Sonota III case. I've waited so long to upgrade the case that there was no gap in selection. Neat!

Also my first(s). Built dozens of Antec's for one contract or another. Straightforward, solid, inexpensive but not flashy.

Holy crap it is so good to see Antec releasing good cases! I remember back in the day when you built a PC, you got an Antec case. Could be a great excuse to upgrade my wife's PC to get her out of the corsair ecosystem.

Good to see Antec back in the game, I had a couple cases from them around 20 years ago that I have fond memories of.

Bro the Antec 900 was my first computer case I built my first rig in. I actually forgot the name of the case model. But you just gave me back some great memories

Antec 900 was my first build. I remember in 2012 they were already saying that some of its features were lacking but the design appealed to me, and the all-steel mesh was a dusty nightmare but beyond that it kept my system chilly. Used the case for eight years before finally upgrading to an AM4 platform and doing a whole new build, which I went with Corsair for. But now, it seems like Antec and Corsair have switched positions, where Antec is aggressively innovating and Corsair has become complacent with their product design. Anyway, beyond the case itself, Antec's customer support left an impression on me for being pleasant and responsive, more like dealing with a small business than a faceless corporation. I'm glad to see them making waves again!

Glad Antec is back, they used to have some of the best cases & power supplies during the late 90s-early 00s. I still have a 300 Illusion case somewhere, one of my favorite to use & build in.

I went with the Antec Performance Series P20C ARGB, dropped 3 140mm in the front and a 360mm AIO in the top. Its a great case and looks very nice. Antec 900 was my first build and I still have it.

Glad to hear it! I'm still running one of their PSU's (High Current Pro 850w 80+ Platinum). It's still as stable and capable as the day I bought it. I almost bought one of their cases back then, but got my hands on a Corsair 800D for my Haswell build. Good ol' days...

Antec used to make excellent cases. Welcome back. The Flux Pro looks promising. Looking forward to your test.

My first personal PC build was in an Antec DF 85. Built like a tank and heavy to move around, but I used it for almost eight years as my primary and still works amazing as the secondary storage box.

Steve I had both the Super LanBoy and the Antec 900. My old 900 is still in a spare PC over at my brother's house. The SuperLanBoy was sooo slick for it's time - super light aluminum and "THE STRAP HARNESS" it came with was the envy of all three of my PC buddies. Then you plug it in and that piercing blue LED lights up your world, speeding up your PC by SO MANY Front Side Busses! Woooo weee did I spent money I didn't have back then. I've looked around online and could not find one anywhere sadly. I think I gave it away with spare PC parts many years ago, would be great to put together an old AMD or Pentium retro build in that thing for old-times sake!

I built a new PC this year, and i went with the Antec DF600... i loved it and bought a second one to refresh my old PC. The new C8 really caught my eye, and I may just have to get one when they are available.

This is great to see! I have an Antec DF600 Flux and I really like this case. Bought it in 2021 and for the price it's awesome! Has a front window but has enough flow to keep temps well under control. Might look into one of these that thing is nice!
