Antelope Island State Park: Everything You Need to Know

We have a day or two in Salt Lake City and are thinking of visiting Antelope Island. Are the animals easy to see? How much time should we allocate - a whole day or just part of the day? Thanks for all the great information!

Hey there, yes the animals are typically very easy to spot. Most of the landscape is very barren and the bison stick out against the grasses and or snow. Make sure to take the road out to Fielding Garr Ranch as there are usually lots of wildlife along that route. You will see many variety of birds and falcons, bison, pronghorn and there are some bighorn sheep as well. Enjoy the trip! Let me know if you have any other questions.
