Man what a relief, I was so frustrated about this, to the point that I was going to put it on sell this week. I updated it after seeing this video, and now I am thinking on buying another 😂 thanks for the tip man!

Thank you so much for this video, I'm actually considering buying a second antelope which is the orion 32+ Gen4. I already have the Orion32HD, can you kindly describe how your connecting the two units together, I also have a prism lyra which I use to print the mix after analog hardware. Do you have a master clock?

I’m connecting the two units via MADI. No need for a master clock for me. The main unit is the clock and the secondary unit is the slave. They clock over MADI and they’ve been ROCK solid. Never had an issue once so far.

nice one! small question maybe you got some advice for me mate: I am using the 32+ gen4 with my Macbook Air M2 but it seems to only work via USB though the TB driver is installed. Got any experience with it? Thanks a lot!

Interesting. I’m using an M1 Mac Studio. It depends I guess if the MacBook Air has all ports as thunderbolt or only one of them? It could also be the cable too! Worth trying a different one to check!

great news 😉 one question i’m going to ask Antelope tech support is doesn’t the galaxy 32 & 64 not have this buffer size limitation ? my understanding is even the galaxy 32 can use buffer 1024 with 128 i/o over the same thunderbolt protocol. it might be the fpga that’s helping…?

Interesting. I wasn’t aware. The Orion does have an FPGA chip in it as well. So who knows! Haha

galaxy 32 has 64 channels over Thunderbolt, not 128
