P40 Pro video performance, dynamic range and front camera performance are a big way better. But at the other things the P30 Pro still can keep up with the P40 Pro. But I think the P40 Pro is sometimes really better at night performance, so at wide angle and video definitely.

After watching several comparisons, I can suggest that P40 pro has some big issues with colour rendition amd white balance. Just look at this huge blueish tint in almost every picture taken by P40 pro (I'm talking only about the main camera, the wide lens detail is unusable at the moment while watching on bigger screens) . Look at the road which is just grey and looks much better on P30 pro while on P40 pro it is just blue. P30 pro renders more warm toned colours what I prefer but of course it's my personal preference. well, it's obvious that pictures taken by P40 pro are brighter by far, but does it really look more natural? especially while taking night shots where on P40 you can often get unrealistic bright sky where it should be almost black. Maybe P40 pro resolves more detailed pictures, but sorry, I don't buy it. For me P30 pro is still a winner

Ovo ja zovem generacijskim napretkom! Kad nova generacija modela sve i jednu stvar poboljša i unaprijedi u odnosu na prethodnu... A ne kao što to Samsung radi sa svojom S linijom... Vidi se poboljšanje S21 Ultre u odnosu na S20 Ultru, ali to je nešto više kao update nego upgrade... U slučaju P30 Pro i P40 Pro se vidi ta zrelost u tehnologiji , gdje čovjek može reći "okee, ovo je novo, ovo je bolje"

I had a P20 Pro, but went back to Samsung, and regret it, nowhere near as good a phone or camera. So, when I'm out of contract I'll be buying a P30 or P40 Pro, they both look OK to me.
