I'm suffering from hirayama disease from few years need help

Good Day... I'm currently researching the possible procedures to take care of my cervical stenosis. I have radiculopathy as well and central canal compression of the cord. The neurosurgeon I have seen has recommend a four level ACDF. I am concerned about a fusion of that magnitude because of adjacent joint disease/complications down the road. So, I've done some research about endoscopic decompression methods. I'm wondering if you have any thoughts about the efficacy of that type of procedure based upon your own experience and/or research. It seems so much less invasive, less blood loss, smaller incision and no fusion. I realize it's difficult to generalize an answer to this because each case is different. But, if someone is a candidate for an endoscopic procedure do you feel it is a successful method? Thank-you for your thoughts, have a great day.

Hard question to answer without looking at your imaging studies and examining you. But in general, if a four level fusion is recommended, I would assume that your imaging studies show advanced pathology that need more than an endoscopic procedure.
