How much in millimeters can this expander move the palate and maxilla forwards in the anterior-posterior dimension? Many premolar extraction retraction victims will need an anterior-posterior advancement of 10mm. Is this possible with a palate expander? Take me as an example: I will need somewhat around 10-13mm upper jaw advancement to solve the mandibular entrapment. Only my upper jaw was mutilated by the premolar extraction retraction, not the lower jaw. So my lower jaw is just as large as it was when I was 16. So there is a huge discrepancy between my too small upper jaw and much larger lower jaw. Will you also discuss the FMA?

Hi Ron, can you please interview someone knowlegeable about the Homeoblock? I know that you had an awful experience with the AGGA and don't believe in tooth-borne expanders. But the 'before and after' I've seen of the homeoblock are impressive. Can you interview someone like Dr.Adams from Serene Orthodontics or Dr.Roca from Arlington smile center? They claim a homeoblock can fix cants, gummy smiles, create expansion very gradually, balances asymmetries etc. What Dr.Adams said in one of his videos matches what Dr. John Mew said in your video - that if you do a MARPE, the other bones in your face don't have time to adjust to that growth. I want to know how the homeoblock doesn't cause teeth tipping etc. Is it the practitioner's skill? I really think you're the right person to get to the bottom of this

finally. i thought my surgeon is the only one who did this to me and his other patient. i did palatal expansion in anterior posterior dimension and achieved 13mm forward maxilla growth. one year now, the gap created will be placed with dental implants. normal people have 32 teeth and i will have 2 extra teeth from the dental implant making me having 34 teeth total. lol

Hi nyatio, really interesting what you are saying. I'm trying to do my reaserch in order to find the best option for me, and I do need both forward and lateral expansion. I've seen that you've said that you managed to achieve 13mm forward growth of the maxilla, and I imagine that you also got lateral expansion? Could you explain a little bit the process and what appliance you got? Maybe even where you got the procedure done? Thanks in advance for your comment and congratulations for your results!!
