WHY couldn't I have found you 10 KZbin instructional vids AND 12+ EasySubli screw-up's SOONER, LOL💜?!?! Every print & cut vid I've watched thus far (yours being the exception👍) explained to set up either an "off-set" OR "bleed" line which I was not too enthused over when Silhouette claims there is only a 1/16th margin of error (when properly calibrated) when cutting around an image. I’m not sure what you mean. To get the image on the paper you need to print it first. Then cut it.

You only need a printer for heat transfer paper. You can still get heat transfer vinyl and cut and press it with the silhouette and a heat press. So you don’t need a printer.

I used an epson 7710 with the ink that cam with it. Inkjet ink. It was a cotton shirt. If you have a sawgrass printer you can only press on polyester shirts and it’s a different process than what I show in this video.

@@AnteUpGraphics I've been trying for hours to figure out what's wrong with my brand new Silhouette Cameo 4. I have it set to cardstock plain, and the page settings to Cut Mat Cameo 12x12. I also have Constrain to Cutting Mat checked. However, on the Send screen it says "Load Media" instead of Load Mat. It also does my test cuts above my cardstock direct onto the mat. It's like it will not recognize my mat. Can you please help me?

I don’t have a video on putting images into the program but it’s super easy. Just hit file at the top left of the screen. Then click “open” in the drop down. Then pic your image.

Hey bro this is gonna sound like an ultra dumb question...... But what you just did in this video - to the best of my knowledge - this is VINYL PRINTING, then VINYL CUTTING (via some kind of precise cutting machine), then finally applying onto a t-shirt via Heat Press.... Now is that something TOTALLY DIFFERENT / TOTALLY SEPARATE from using an Inkjet Printer, printing onto a Heat Transfer Paper, and applying onto a t-shirt via Heat Press? I know how dumb it sounds lol. I’ve only just purchased a Heat Press Machine, Teflon Paper, and Heat Transfer Paper (and already owned an inkjet printer)..... And only after watching this video do I realise that I also need that precise cutting machine you have, since the images I want to put on t-shirts are all PNGs with transparent backgrounds 😩😩

Yes. That’s correct. You print to your printer from the silhouette studio software. Then you load it into the silhouette to cut it.

What’s going wrong? Is it not cutting what you want? Is it cutting off? Is it cutting extra stuff?

Ante Up Graphic Supply it's cutting off like it will cut what I want but in a different spot..of that makes sense. And for some reason the cuts aren't smooth. (I'm completely new to this)

Great video, except the Brother HL-L6200DW is a MONO laser jet. Did I miss something?

You caught that?! I didn’t have the inkjet printer setup when I was recording the screen. So I just picked one for the video. Then when I actually recorded the printing I had connected our epson 7710 inkjet printer to my laptop. So I see where it’s confusing. But I definitely didn’t print to the brother. All these views and comments and you are the first to pick up on that.

The cameo doesn’t print it just cuts. So if you want to print you need a printer. I recommend finding an inkjet printer that is within your budget

Could you use trace and detach feature instead? Then do the offset.. looks great going to have to try this...😊

I’ve never had success with trace and detach. It always comes out funky to me. I’ll have to give it another shot.

Hi, I bought the silhouette SD 12 year ago and this is the first time I'm going to use it. I'm trying to print tiny images, my question is, how can I print them without the border around the image?

If there is a border around your image. You would need to remove the boarder before printing. Or create the cut lines to cut inside the border.

Great tutorial. Any suggestions for getting the device to register? Keeps saying registration failed when attempting to cut my design out

Make sure the registration marks are printing as black as they can be. Some people color them in with a sharpie.

That’s correct. You can save it and print it as you need it.
