Thanks Dantics. Just wanted to add one quick thing, they did mention during the live stream that all loot (Epic quality and below) will be discarded if not looted. ONLY Masterwork and Legendaries will be sent to your mailbox if not looted. Also in the trailer at the end of the stream, it talks about the next live stream will cover more endgame activities as well as strongholds.

If your team wipes you start from the last checkpoint on the mission. Just wanted to clear that up even though what Dan said in the video is technically true.

Yep this is correct. You start the 'encounter' again, which is a checkpoint. Wording might not have been clear.

Ben said in the case of that legendary contract. So we don't know what happens if your group wipes in a stronghold or a story mission.

I think if they are going to introduce a 5th class it should be a warp oriented class. One with rapid fire teleportation mechanics where you can drop teleportation zones you can swap between quickly and even allow allies to jump through, or warp fields that slow and knock enemies back, or grenades that cause enemies to implode when they hit targets that draws other enemies towards them so others can deal tighter area damage. And the ultimate ability could be a giant EMP that explodes in a sphere and knocks everything back within a large radius. So a different kind of quick mobility than the interceptor with less damage and more support abilities like the storm class, while having a slightly thicker skin and staying much more on the ground and closer to the action.

@Dantics the venom darts shoot 3 darts baseline. If you notice the masterwork Venom Darts didnt have orange text. This was answered on Twitter that they added more Masterwork items that are super powerful but wont have a secondary effect like ones we have seen in the past.

Today's Livestream showed a lot of great information. Not the least of which was showing a bit more of the difficulty curve. One of the things that has probably subconsciously affected people's negative perceptions of this game have been the 10,000 videos all showing the same few minutes of the same old devstreams on the same old alpha build on the same low difficulty. I've seen tons of comments along the lines of "I can't place it, but this game looks super boring/repetitive for some reason". I think it was just too many content creators recycling too little content. Today's gameplay went a long ways in getting me even more hyped for this game! The synergy with other classes/players. The impressive amount of loot combinations. Little things like sticky grenades that do more damage if you're accurate enough to stick it to a weak point. And that's not even starting on the build/team combos! I continue to be impressed with the attention to detail. Man, is it February 22 yet?

Thank you so much Dantics, last night I didn't have a clue of what anthem was but then your "50 things to know about anthem" popped up as an ad and I was immediately glued to everything about this game, I went to school today and told all my friends about it and now they're all for it too, I wasn't even this hyped for rdr2 but this game has to be one of the most blood pumping things I've ever seen and I can't wait to just fly around with my friends and do raids that we are too low of a level for. If it weren't for you I may have never found out what this game was, so I just wanted to thank you for showing me what I'll be doing with my summer break. Also Ranger or Interceptor?

The builds in Anthem have so much room for growth. I like all the skills so far but just think about a year or 2 after launch if they add more attacks, gear, supers, and animations for those as well as entire new suits to mess with.

For me this is EAs last game for change and bio. If EA gave it enough time for development and the game has a great story and borderlands type fun! Then I'm buying it. EA has to learn u can make tons of money by making 1 great game every few years. Look at rockstar except online part because thats just extent of pay and life of game

Pleasantly surprised that the Javelin can branch out of their roles. The Ranger as support is funny. The Javelins probably won't branch out to the extreme like the Storm won't be able to tank, but it's still nice that the game features a class combination system. Oh, matchmaking in any game modes... I'm totally in!

Exactly, it's a surprise to see that most classes have a support type option. I have seen some masterworks that suggest storm and interceptor might be able to build to survive for much longer. (doubt anywhere near colossus though).

Hey, first off awesome vid. I love all the Anthem coverage and breakdowns. Secondly, odd question has there been any indication if the Interceptor’s aura has a secondary function or effect? Like if you have a frost aura would that keep you Javelin cool and enable longer flight time, and conversely a fire aura would keep you Earth bound and need to be used more tactically?
