Heh, yep. I quit after ~50 hours. I want to try SO many builds for each Javalin, but I can't even get half of one build for one javalin in a reasonable amount of time. Nope. Anthem had its chance, I'm done. I still check the subreddit, but I only log in to play with a friend that only just finished the main campaign. At this point, this feels like a data collection scheme - how far can they push people, and what reactions do they get (... now that I think of it, it sounds like Vault Tek) - Even considering gross mismanagement and incompetence, and working in a corporate structure myself, I've seen it firsthand... this just feels too extreme to be accidental / tone deaf. This is weapons-grade incompetence. They could be making decisions for the game that are *completely random* and probably make better overall decisions than they've made so far. The only thing I can think of besides 'social experiment / data collection' is that the team lead is somehow untouchable / unfireable due to relations, and they have paranoid schizophrenia with delusions that giving away loot personally costs them somehow, and they're hiding under their desk hissing "My preciouuussssss' Gollum style.

Dear Bioware, We used to love you guys, but your changes in Anthem and persistent refusal to LISTEN to outstanding and massive outcry and VERY basic fix suggestions has led me and others to the point of wanting to SCREAM at you guys. Fix loot drop rates, espexially in higher difficulties. Make cosmetic chests PERMANENT, make their armor drop rates highest in higher difficulties. Make enemies less bullet-spongy at the highest difficulty, but keep their current lethality. When the games demo came out I played it and loved it so much. I played it after launch until I got a bug where EVERY TIME I played one mission it would always crash at the end of that mission and reset that missions progress. Always. I played that same mission 9 times.

Because I think the players who pre-ordered, bought, had faith in this game and continue to give EA/Bioware games a pass need to know this and learn the lesson to not trust EA and Bioware again until they show proof that they can be trusted.

Thanks for the video, man. I'm a big fan of your channel, as well as Rich from ReviewTechUSA and Jeremy from TheQuartering. I quit playing Anthem because of the pure boredom of grinding for no reason. I have never even found not one purple item, nor have I ever used the forging system for any reason. It was also confusing. I didn't understand how to use the crafting nor why after so many hours sunk into it, that I had almost nothing to show. I legitimately stopped playing it after I did a legendary raid or whatever it's called, and I got all blue items that were of a lesser value than my current getup. I'm glad you talked about this, because it drove me out of the game all together.

I played it during the 10 hrs demo they released on PC and though flying was fun, there were too many glitches and bugs and not enough content. The nail in the coffin was when I got a master/ legendary gun and they patched in the launch bay. That patch forced me from the mission I was on and deleted my gun. I lost access to it for 2 hrs and then it eventually popped back in my inventory. I was weaponless for 2 hrs in a looter shooter... THen there was all the headless play and me loosing control of my jav in several missions and getting stuck in the levels the doors closing on me and the boss becoming invincible. The glitch were I could spam my super 20 times before it went away was fun during boss fight though. I had no control of my jav when it happened so I died a ton, but... Just not enough game and it missed the mark so many times... Then you didnt really customize the base, or the jav with no options... etc.

I am curious about the anthem showing at E3, they are supposed to show something there this year and it doesn't look like anything is coming in the near future. It feels like the game will go f2p in an announcement due to the cost already dropping to half off and the way they want to monetize microtransactions in a game with a lack of content. It would be easy to just release it as a F2P to allow for more possible matches in matchmaking and potentially make a few bucks during the time they have to keep it up (1 year) to avoid getting lawsuits thrown at them for false advertising etc in countries like the UK.
