I still have the game haven't sold it I keep it for mometo purposes I had a great time with the game we just had technical problems make the game unplayable. The game can literally overheat your external hard drive thus corrupting your other games that happened to me and many other people too. So much potential if Only the developers Had Clear Developer that had One goal one focus And then From there Make abundant of Side missions and main missions. It should have had more boss Masters that did different things. Too bad too bad.

I bought anthem when it first came out. I loved it (still do) breaks my heart that they abandoned the game. That being said I started to play it again in late 2023 (still playing in early 2024) and I have consistently been finding ppl to play with really quickly when I select quick play on missions / strong holds. I plan on keeping it on my ps5. I truly believe if we all started to play again we can save it and hopefully the publisher will give it a second chance.

This hurts a ton, it was a REALLY GREAT game, but sadly what was delivered was so weird, but the game play for combat was really good, if they would have retaken it and corrected the issues, it would be a game we would have poured our money in like Destiny. This is really sad... :(

Maybe we could put a petition for ea to sell the anthem copyright and other assets from the game so that someone could make a successor to the game. It has a LOT of potential, the flying mechanic and fighting alone is solid enough to use for like an iron man game, or better yet a sci-fi looter shooter that has more substance than this game did. This game itself felt largely like a single player experience when I played it backa few years ago, I still even have the receipt and hard copy of it. Idk, even cyberpunk was able to salvage there reputation after some time. I wish this game hadn't been given up on so early

Iron Man crossed with Avatar films in a game. The Javalins could have had so many more variations, so many more thing could of been done with the content. If they ever came out with a new version fully developed and then I would be up for getting the game, but that would never be.

My friends and I waited 5 or 6 years for Anthem. Sadly there was too little content and the game was plagued with bugs. I was excited about Anthem 2.0. Then crushed again when 2.0 was canceled.

I want my money back. I still played this game but for whatever reason I can no longer log in. I could YESTERDAY but today “The ANTHEM service is currently unavailable” they don’t do updates anymore so either it’s a seasonal update or something or the devs have officially stolen product from customers. I paid $80 for the early access LOD edition and since the game is no longer available EA owes me and SO many other people money. Devs doing this needs to be made ILLEGAL

We had no idea how good we had it in 2019 dude, the fact this honestly pretty decent game was considered one of the worst games of the year is crazy to me, and shows how many bangers we had that year for this to be considered bad. It was lacking mission variety at launch for sure, not much endgame content i guess, but literally everything else (except the cringe dialogue and rushed campaign) felt really great to play, i cannot belive ea let this game die. The 2.0 update would have saved this game. Fun combat and gunplay, amazing visuals, great map and enemy design. The hate for this game always felt so unwarranted to me, yes it was rushed out, but everyone i know who actually gave it a chance ended up loving it. I think 90% of the hate this got was people still being mad at ea for battlefront 2, they wanted to see them fail regardless of what they put out. This game was one of the biggest casualties of covid for me, of all the stuff that got cancelled, the huge 2.0 overhaul update for anthem was the one that hurt the most to see.

It's really a shame. I play this game every now and then and it's fun in small chunks but it's also clearly incomplete. If they would have ACTUALLY made it open world and allowed you to see other players in the city you travel to, show NPCs and other players outside and inside of the city doing their own things, put ALL traversal in third person view and allow you to exit and enter your javelin at will in the cities , had more than one city to visit, and made the NPCs actual quest givers instead of clutter for the town...this game would have been fantastic. The game looks amazing, the controls are tight, the javelins are unique and cool to pilot, and the environments are beautiful. The lack of weapon diversity and lack of a blocking and or parrying mechanics also hurt the game quite a bit. I know the mods slightly change the elements and abilities of the weapons, but there should have been multiple TYPES of melee weapons with different animations for each type of melee weapon. How cool would it be to be in the Storm javelin and deflect projectiles with your cape (making the cape more than just cosmetic)? Or countering a melee attack as the Interceptor with a well-timed button press? The Interceptor should also run faster than it does. Man...so many ideas. So many wasted opportunities! I wish they would use this IP and LISTEN to the GAMERS to try again. This could have been epic...

I really wished the sellers would come with you on certain special missions I would say around a good old 25 all together. Some of the missions could be tied to one of his friends or family member or getting a particular item or an underwater mission you know something like this would be great not even Destiny or Destiny 2 have unique missions that involved the sellers of the items you buy or earn by doing challenges in his shop or her shop get to step away and come with you because this Mission involves them too.🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂.

This is why you should NEVER BUY A SERVER ONLY GAME. That is why I didnt buy The Crew 2, etc. If they shut the servers down, game is over and you can never go back and play it. I feel the same way about Elite Dangerous, even though the devs say they will make it work if they shut the servers down locally. Not if they go bankrupt or the purse gets cut and people laid off.

🤖Look, I respect people who were, and still are, upset and disappointed by what Anthem was advertised to be and ended up falling short of, but the vast majority of what Anthem does Warframe does far better, it's been around for 10 years plus, still gets massive free updates and quality of life overhauls, it has full cross play and is about to get full cross save/platform merging turned on, early game is being vastly streamlined to be easier to progress through, and it doesn't show any signs at all of slowing down. Warframe has climbed over its potential countless times. I'm tired of hearing about Anthem's "potential." I'm tired of hearing about Destiny's "potential." One died and the other is crumbling. They no longer have potential. That potential is long gone.

Ya, I agree with you but a lot of people got ripped off ( Myself included) when EA announced after they talked about fixing the game and remaking it, that they pulled the plug and sent everyone to a another project. That's at least $65 or $75 dollars (if they bought the deluxe game) that EA had ripped from people, and refused to apologize for. I just picked thus up 3 days ago and I'm thinking LITERALLY HOW THE FUK DID THIS GAME DIE!!! IDC WHAT ANYONE SAYS ABOUT THIS GAME, ITS FREAKING DOPE AS FK. Sometimes I think it's the public that bandwagons onto games just bc its trending. Now I know all about the story of anthem the poor launch and the micotransactions but then anthem 2.0 fixed things here snd there but like I'm playing totally solo and treating it like a single player campaign and it's actually really good. Lots of customization and I think I've only scratching surface so to speak. I'm getting all my loyalty up to each faction bc I heard if u max each out by end of story into end gane they then give u legendary contracts instead of just basic ones and trust me the legendary gear is huge it's not just a Stat increase item it's got shit like while hovering gain freaking 325% weakpoint damage and another adds massive Shockwave to my tank melee javelin. And that's only the 2 legendary ones ove cane across there's lots. 4 different types mech suits and each like 5 options for each ability which u have like 3 then the weapons and I'm sure lots other shit. I'm happy I found dead ass anthem Its literally my opinion the worst decision in gaming history to not have perfected this franchise. It's little too weird. It's almost like destiny with their billions just bought em out to make it fmgo away. It's just so strange bc I game alot I know games and Anthem in its fatigued and broken state still shines in its pit of darkness of the failed gaming abyss....😢
