The mesh part of the nests looks like they have big holes. Too big the eggs can fall down them.

They are 0.1 mm wide no eggs😉 falling trough that. Also eggs are covered in the ants saliva making them stick to each other like you saw in the video. Eggs falling trough simply can't happen😉

Although ea have answered I can also safely say that no eggs have been spotted in the holes. Some of them have tho been filled up with cotton

These nests are so much smaller in person. A small EA nest is like the same size as the palm of my hand. And the mini outworlds are even smaller!

Hah yeah they are smaaaall but most ant nest are. But then again it’s made for colonies to move out of the test tubes and they aren’t to big either 😅

Had to push the queen a little she didn’t want to move so I ended up opening the nest. Brood and everything else was moved 😅
