Lonzo is a solid - average - NBA player who will play in this league - barring injuries - for a long time. He will work on his weaknesses, he will get better. For those who are confused why he was the Number 1 pick,Here‘s the reason. The cavaliers got the first pick in 2013. But that draft year, most potential players are guards, such as Oladipo, CJ. Noel was going to be the number 1 pick but his knee injury had him to sit out for the entire season just like Embiid. By that time, Cavaliers already had Dion and Kyrie as the starting guards, so they decide to use the draft pick to select Bennet who was predicted to be around 13th overall pick. BTW, Bennet is the most laziest player I have ever seen, never setting screen for guards, getting the ball and shoots it immediately without a second thoughts, walking on the court slowly while the rest of the team is running like hell.

i really think that if bennet was drafted in the 20s or so he would actually contibute more that #1 pick has put a lt of pressure on him. i mean the biggest steal in the draft so far has been Tim Hardaway Jr. he was picked #24 and is in the top 4-5 on the rookie ladder and leads all rookies in 3p FG% i believe.
@LongboardVIC11 жыл бұрын
Tim Hardaway Jr is not just playing well cause he "doesn't have as much pressure on him" cause he was selected in the 20s, maybe you should consider that he is a great talent who would deliver whatever pick he was.
@varius45611 жыл бұрын
LongboardVIC i know that is completely true i am a knicks fan but thats just something i wonder about. i am sure thj would play well if he was drafted high. you know a team would have been smart to draft both trey burke and him if they had two early picks
@seepokeeyes11 жыл бұрын
Tim Hardaway Jr. is a beast!! Loving him on the knicks

I don't think it is Hardaway he has been producing well the biggest steal has been MCW and I'm not a Sixers Fan at all

A nightmare of an nba career, sucks to get stuck in that loop of missing shots and then getting anxious and missing even more shots
@ivroxxd6 жыл бұрын
Just remember that this man was drafted over Victor Oladipo, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Rudy Gobert, Dennis Schröder, Nerlens Noel, Caldwell-Pope and many more players with thousand times his talent. I can just not understand what happened to this dude. Did he forget how to play basketball? The Cavaliers are so unlucky. But hey, next year they can draft me though! I might score once or twice on 0.01% shooting.

The Cavs reached hard with this pick. It was a shitty draft, seemed the best players you mentioned were late lottery picks.
