They also allow more physicality and they do not have a defensive three-second rule which makes it more difficult for the offensive to score in lane, just like the older NBA. Even Luka, Giannis & Jokic said it’s easier to score in the NBA than in international basketball.

Ideally most NBA fans (regardless of era) would of said this year's NBA is less than watchable. 2000s, 2010s, 1990s, and probably 1980s. However responses from Anthony Edwards (and you specifically) only acknowledge 1990s fans that don't like today's era. Regardless of what Kobe era fans may say.

Yeah but not on Mike's level. That's like saying Reggie was as skilled as Mike, or Allan Houston. There were skilled players then but none on Mike's level. And that's Ant's argument. No 3pt sniper like Steph. No 7ft Sniper like KD or Nowitzky, hell Jordan didn't even have to face his doppelganger. This era has all of that and then some. Imagine Anthony Mason or Charles Oakley shooting 3s or Hakeem with a 26ft jumpshot and guard like handles. Again, that's the skill in this era, that just didn't exist then

Nikola Jokic is a 3x MVP and consider the best player in the NBA. Yet can anyone tell me what Jokic does better than Larry Bird? I don’t think he shoots better, passes better, dribbles better than Bird. Larry averaged 10 rebs per game in a far more physical, post focused era. So Jokic being 2 inches taller and 40 lbs heavier averaging 12 rebs today isnt as impressive in comparison. Most of these bigs are soft (Gobert) or undersized (Bam, AD). Bird would be a triple dub machine in the modern NBA. So would Magic, Penny, Grant, Pippen, Kidd and Drexler.

If Edward's referring to players in the past not being skilled in shooting his load in different women then he might have a point. Jokes aside.....dude better be careful not to allow himself to lose money because these women want a payday.

The 92 dream team had 3 guys that were able to take off from the free throw line at the time. Not sure if anyone from the 2024 team were capable of that. They were also a thousand times more skilled defensively and with mid range.

Yeah I get it but who cares it’s not like he has a clue. Just like all youngins he just yaps and social media made them all think they can have an opinion on anything without getting checked. He’s clueless, his opinion is irrelevant. Like he’s a student of the game 🤣 He hasn’t watched a single full game prior to 2005, I’d bet my life. Doesn’t change my opinion of him as a player, not related. He’s still a stud

This is why we should never ask some 20 something year old about their thoughts on whom the goat is or their thoughts on the game of past eras. Dudes only started watching the game the last 10-12 years. And was still in their father testicles when those cats was playing back then!! Nobody cares what these youngins have to say about the 70s 80s and 90s. They don't know anything.

Anthony Edwards just made me lose the respect I had for him. Something tells me he doesn’t even believe what he said and it seems like he was told to say it. It’s all to make Bron’s failure in his own era not look as bad. The media doesn’t want to admit that Steph Curry dominated/won more than LeBron in his own era and in less time.
