Nikola Jokic is a 3x MVP and consider the best player in the NBA. Yet can anyone tell me what Jokic does better than Larry Bird? I don’t think he shoots better, passes better, dribbles better than Bird. Larry averaged 10 rebs per game in a far more physical, post focused era. So Jokic being 2 inches taller and 40 lbs heavier averaging 12 rebs today isnt as impressive in comparison. Most of these bigs are soft (Gobert) or undersized (Bam, AD). Bird would be a triple dub machine in the modern NBA. So would Magic, Penny, Grant, Pippen, Kidd and Drexler.

I love how the era of load managing, no defense, no post game, team hopping, and stacking the deck is going to tell us what "skilled" means. That's hilarious. 😂
