For anyone who understands that ANT is the next Jordan and Kobe. You need to understand it's not that he is being compared to those guys or that he is trying to be those guys. He is simply carrying on in their tradition and carrying that torch. We've been waiting for the next guy after Kobe retired. Kobe never made it to the level of MJ but if we wanted to watch MJ after retirement Kobe was the closest thing. ANT is the closest thing as well to those guys. While I would like Anthony Edwards to be a better playmaker, I can't deny his talent and ability to absolutely turn it on and cook, when he is hot he can be the best player on the court against any opponent, and that is something I absolutely respect, I mean he doesn't really even need to be a better playmaker, he is a 2 guard for a reason, I just think sometimes he can get so fixated on scoring the ball that he forgets he can pass the ball to someone else, withe more experience he will literally be a Kobe or MJ like player, he at least has the talent to do so, and from what we are seeing from him the mentality as well, I have been skeptical of him because other than Kobe and MJ iso players have never been the best players on championship teams, and both MJ and Kobe both had another person to play off of in Pippen and Gasol, but Ant has proven me wrong completely and I do believe that in his career he will be able to at least contend for championships multiple times, I do believe OKC vs Timberwolves can be a good budding rivalry in the west, unfortunately I don't think they will meet in the playoffs this year because the Nuggets, Mavs and Clippers are all very capable of going to the conference finals instead of them.
