How anyone can say he’s fake I don’t know? I remember watching him in every fight in the 2012 Olympics prior to being a professional and in his interviews he’s was just as humble!! You all cast your opinions on others! I see a honest, young, enthusiastic Briton with a real passion for life and inspiring others. I’ve been to AJ’s area/road and he’s moulded from an area of Christianity, rich in communal spirit and extremely working class! It's so important to have a great young black role model for black youth to look up to & be inspired. As a young black man I see myself in him & look up to him because I identify myself in him. Knowing that he came from a poor council estate like myself & has made it, so what's stopping me if he has. It's not about my skin colour or favouritism. Anyone who has mixed heritage...whether from Europe, Africa, Asia...mixed with British citizenship or blood...always favour their 'foreign' opposition in these contests, unless they are slave minded drones. I have Irish and German in me, and prefer both of them over the English (even though I am more English)... But that opposition is not due to opposition to the players, but more opposition towards the worst of the 'fans' and the government/establishment. Of course Joshua is part of the sporting establishment so can't come across as anti-British in anyway, but that is inside him...although he contradicted that by fighting for Britain! If he had chosen to fight for Nigeria, then the media and sporting establishment would not be keep to enrich him and promote him as a role model. Zidane could have played for Algeria but is fully indoctrinated by French culture and ideology.
