That's just the cycle of the sport. IMO, the set of Heavyweights (AJ, Fury, Wilder, Chisora, Whyte, etc) have kind of stuck around longer than most eras do, so it's kind of nice to see thing start to shift.
@EternaITruths17 сағат бұрын
The saddest part is I still think he has all the skill and power needed to be champion again but he lost something when he lost to Ruiz and it came back to haunt him tonight, he looked mentally broken in there from the first bell. AJ is a better fighter than DDD imo but the difference is the mentality, Dubois had no fear and AJ was full of fear and it drastically effected the performances of both of them.

AJ didn't seem confident and actually looked scared days before the fight. He was already psychologically defeated, entering into the ring. I believe Dubois' overly resilience and tough stance during their pre-fight altercations had dealt a devastating blow on the two-time champion.
@kyleskudaneellis26852 сағат бұрын
I think you're right. There also seems to be a shift in boxing. Less show, less gimmicks and straight fighting. I think UYSK and DUBOIS strictly have boxing on their minds. I think that's really great.

Another light dimming out. Unfortunately, athletes in Nigeria don't understand that the moment you start associating with Nigeria's political leaders, courting them, you are on your way out. They are light dimmers. See how they have dimmed Nigeria's hope and light. Samuel Peters, Tobi Susan, now AJ, etc. There are many more. Asa progressive athlete, you must avoid our politicians if you want to keep your progress.
