This was so hard for me to watch. I'm not famous like Anthony, but we have a few commonalities. My stepfather introduced me to hard drugs at the age of 11 and convinced me to have sex with a 29 year old woman. I Didn't want to do it because I was scared and didn't know what to do. The experience changed my life forever in a very negative way. He's still alive and out there and maybe one day I will be able to confront him and tell him how much he screwed me up. It messed me up with how I looked at sex and intimacy which really effected relationships I was in, and it also got me started on a path of drugs and alcohol that I finally beat 10 years ago at the age of 36. Looking back I realize now he was a terrible father and abused me for some sick reason, and that now today would of be convicted of child abuse at a minimum. Pay attention to people and don't let children become victimized.

@fatherof3husbandto18 күн бұрын
A parents job is to instruct to educate to shelter to feed and to instill values into their child. Being their buddy should be near the bottom of the list. It's important to be your kids friend but a genuine friend. A real friend calls you out, picks you up when you are down, is there for you at your worst and celebrating you at your best and encouraging and pushing you to better yourself. Buddies will let you commit self deletion any way you choose and not say a word to you about it because they don't wanna be mean. Being nice and being caring are not the same thing. I had heinous parents. But my hatred for their actions against me push me to be nothing like them now I'm a parent. I love my children more than words allow me to explain. But I'll be damned if I ruin or harm them the way my parents did me, and always put their well being above all else.

We are still living in carefully curated prison cells. Told what to be to love to want to need and what to fear. Told you need a house a car a spouse and children and then you'll be HAPPY. It's still all bull but I stopped listening to the news the television and maybe it's because I had a heart attack at a young age. I was barely forty when I learned I had a congenital heart defect. I lived in America my whole life and complained about my chest from childhood but without insurance at the time nobody seemed to care. I grew up and eventually moved to the UK where they found it after my heart attack. I went off topic a bit. Sorry. But my point is most American people are busy fighting each other and name calling rather than working together to make things better. We pay bills and end up with little to nothing all while watching billionaires tell us how easy it is to become one. I'm a veteran and I'm just disgusted with it all. ❤ to your points though😊

A movie called Suburbia (1983) where a girl in a pink dress goes to a punk show and the punks pull all her clothes off because she was a preppy girl in a punk arena. It was seen as "hard core" - not inhumane - by a lot of young kids, because of the movie slant on impressionable minds. Mike B. was in that movie in 1983. Looks like they tried to recreate it. Gross.

We would go over there and get high and drunk every day , with their parents , or they would drop us off wherever we liked, for days at a time. Most of the “ cool kids “ at the time , had parents like that, I guess you didn’t know any 🤷🏻

Read his book in highschool, its clear his dad was the cause of his troubles. Bro blew weed smoke in his face when he was a baby. It's clearly a lot of peoples first time hearing this info. You can still like the band. Just dont be a pedophile and give drugs to children, and you're fine. Of course, what he did was horrible, i dont think anyone but him or his dad would agree it wasn't, i wouldn't trust anyones judgement when they've been doing heroin and other hard drugs as a child.
