Martial was easily the most technically gifted and most deadly finisher at United. His cool finishing especially on one-on-one situations was a joy to watch. He was very good at giving assists too. Sadly injuries ruined his last 3 years at United. Still only 28 years. Good luck to him.

Could be brilliant in big games and in moments but just wasn't consistent enough, especially in his last couple of seasons and too injury prone just like Pogba was. It really is a shame, we come across great players with massive potential in our squad only to produce lacklustre outcomes. Such a calm, cool and collected forward in front of goal, it’s crazy how he conducted himself on the pitch at that young age bursting into the scene in his first season. His first goal, the everton fa cup goal and the goal against partizan belgrade some of his finest goals he scored tbf majority of them are great goals, he loves a dink loool got a lot of tidy finishes. Merci beaucoup, Tony the streets will never forget👌🏾🔥

Martial was our best finisher in the team. Since he signed for us from Monacco FC in 2015 and scored that brilliant solo goal against Liverpool he became my favorite. His always shown his brilliance. He’s got speed, skill, composure in the final third, agility, dribbling and a great finishing ability. Under Mourinho we played him as a winger as he did alright there but I prefer and liked him as a striker more as he played there under Ole and LVG as well. Thanks for the memories Martial. Wish him all the best in the future AND AS ALWAYS COME ON YOU RED DEVILS❤️🔥

It only shows once again that a club can ruin a player. He had the talent to play for France, i mean, he still has the talent, but his development has been greatly hindered, so he's far behind the growth he should be presently, because honestly, he is a lot more talented than a lot of those French players who are playing for France now, especially his finishing ability. I think his manager should be blamed, because he must have been aware of the crisis this club has been in, to seriously consider that it could be a risk for his client to play for Manchester United now, because as much as i love Manchester United, i wouldn't want to play for them if i was a player until they have sorted out the operation of the club, which is from the head, i wouldn't take such a risk, because no matter how talented you are as a player, you still won't be able to have the kind of impact you should have on the club because you won't be able to thrive to your full potential, which would undermine your growth and reduce or mess up opportunities for you, which was what happened to Martial. He could have already won a world cup medal and acquired a few world cup goals. I just hope it's not too late for him to achieve something great in football, because he has the talent for it. Do you know that the hardest goals to score are when you are 1&1 with the keeper? But Martial made it look easy whenever he encountered these situations, another evidence of his finishing ability.

Feck, love Tony M. Scorer of great goals. Would have kept him over Rashford, ( I know injuries). But at one point over the last 2 years we had most of our 1st team available. Ten Hag's first season anyway and we were on fire. Tony M. was scoring and providing. To which Ten Hag heaped praised on the team as a whole, but particularly Martial. Then, against Barca, Lycha got injured and that was us fucked till he came back. Lycha can be a playmaker for us and allows us to play at least 20 yards higher up the pitch. Once he was injured it was like United in the 80's and 90's without Robbo, different team. Anyway, I started with Tony, going to miss you and your most stellar goals. Best of luck wherever you end up. This ETH bollox has to stop as well. We can see what he can get a team to play like at both their best.

I really thought this guy would make it all the way to the top back in the summer of 2016. As part of a counterattacking Mourinho side as an inverted winger he should have torn it up. In hindsight the likes of Rashford, Lingard and Mkhitaryan took some crucial gametime in the Mourinho years which could have seriously helped his development after what should have been a breakout season under Van Gaal. Ole got some good out of playing him as a 9 but even at his best he wasn't what was needed in that role. I'm forever grateful for the goals often at quite dark times in UTD history like the 15/16 season and the first half of 19/20 but there was so much more that we could have seen.
