I too saw this a few years back and it had a real impact on me. It is a sad and poignant movie. I wish I could watch the full movie here, without having to click on another site, that annoys me as I won't do that!

Actually a pretty good film. Saw it one on television many years back. Chronicles a Rumanian throughout WWII. Maybe sometime consider posting the whole film. Thanks!

+John Erwin Hi, again, John. People 'have' uploaded this movie a few times, but, KZbin keeps taking it down for copyright reasons!?!? I don't understand those copyright reasons - this, that, and, the other movie can be uploaded; but, this, that, and, the other cannot!?!? I'm confused!

ROMANians... descendents of the ROMANS :-)
@stevenwolf84833 жыл бұрын
@@cameliahudson6438 Descendants of the Dacians, not romans, who raped our women, pillaged Dacia and didn't bring anything culturally since the soldiers themselves were from different parts of the Roman Empire.

I don’t know how accurate this “going to America” thing is :)) In Romania most people didn’t want to go anywhere unless it was Paris or Vienna for studies
@Nini-144 Жыл бұрын
It was very common to go to America. My grand grand grand father worked în Detroit for few years at Ford factor and came home in his small village from Ardeal to his family with money. Back then the people were free to move everywhere they want and they were very smart and hardworking people

Did it ever occur to you that the described events had had a specific impact on the hero’s tribulations (the book is almost a biographical account of the author’s own suffering)?

You'll be surprised how many romanians (or other ethnic groups from Transilvania !) emigrated to US since 18...something !
