I taught for over 30 years at the elementary level. Over the years I had a few students diagnosed with a mental health condition called oppositional defiance. He is enamored with those who chose to break the rules at every step in the road. That was their goal- to break the rules. These people get the same kind of emotional feedback from engaging in these negative behaviors as others get from engaging from positive behaviors. They lack the filter that allows them to choose right from wrong. They get more bang for the buck to make the wrong choice.

This really was the biggest story in the history of the United States until January 6th. In 2019 Trump withheld $391 million in lethal aid to Ukraine while extorting Zelensky for dirt on Biden.
