I agree with his predictions about the Republicans eventually asking him to resign. If he refuses I predict the Senate will vote to impeach him by a narrow margin. I especially liked the line about this being the last episode of the apprentice where the contestants fire him. That's a keeper.

As abstract and bizarre as it may sound...... but still a rational "what-if" if one considers patterns and the desperation factor of the subject of the discussion....... when there are references to intimidated, fearful employees at WH, is it fear of the subject or is there perhaps some arrangement none of them want to see collapse....... like a "bonus" they'll earn only under certain arrangements in some contract. Let's say they're receiving hush money on-the-fly....... it's not their job so much as that trickle of incoming extra bread they desperately don't want to lose? Considering the mental health benefit to certain people of certain character, job loss from inside the WH itself doesn't sound like reason to panic...... we're not talkin' about someone like late Mafia don Raymond Patriarca or (with respect) John Gotti here, or even Fredo Corleone. Something conjures the image of staff "terrified" of something other than job loss. If you think about the numbers..... say Trump told a half-truth about $10 billion worth, so that makes $5 billion. With just ONE of those stagnant billions, that's 1 million people he could pay $1,000 to, or 1,000 to whom he could pay $1 million to see to it certain as-yet-undiscovered offenses stay on the low. Bottom line time....... why would Trump root around for external assistance relevant to his...... damn this is difficult to type....... re-election? He's absolutely aware he can't and won't even try to perform satisfactorily....... why else the "third-party"? Same question in 2016, same shrug now. Knows that outside influences are his only hope....... so...... that's deliberately shoving on the American people "not our best". *Mexico sends "not their best", Trump consciously and deliberately gives "some of the worst". You'd expect that from Idi Amin or an electric eel. Still a chance for a cardiopulmonary event; more than a few of us have wished away irrecoverable years hoping the moment will come he may be rendered irrevocably "unable". But wait..... the "unable" is the basis for his outreach beyond borders to even the enemy. Nothing wrong with that. He's the only US president as unqualified as he was upon seizure of the throne. That alone is an unprecedented achievement. This deserved tangled web of evidence and criminal intent may be a divine gift; wear him down even beyond the point he can't even think about another rally. And what happened to the drugs and weapons in transit with that caravan of desperate hopefuls? Was that ever substantiated? Is that the reason the cages along the border continue to incarcerate the hopefuls, like some compensatory surrogate for the Wall of Denial no amount of door-slamming, phone-throwing tantrum would force into realization? Living in my head rent-free....... same effect from this individual and his congregation as bloodhound snot.
