Okay so I watched the show, it wasn't good? I mean, I am not a fan hahaha don't hate me!!! I will still watch it! Promise! Because of Anthony and Benedict - the only characters I care about.

Yeah, it was also a struggle for me to finish the goddamn show but I pushed through for Eloise, Benedict, and these two (it didn't hurt Simon was sp easy on the eyes, either!). I wish they had gotten more screentime- I know Anthony screwed up spectacularly several times, but Siena was all he could think of when confronted with death. He truly cared for her, and maybe had he been more honest with himself and stop fucking things up by trying to step in for his dad for one sec they would have both gotten what they wanted/needed. Wonderful song choice, terrific editing.

@@martinamarijanovic6106 It’s not a shame. It’s the thing they should do since Siena doesn’t even exist in the books they’re following. PLUS sex and dependence are not love. They’re not the best couple. They’re hella toxic. And they both saw that in the end when decided to break up :)

@@VirginRose i thinks it's because of the repercusions it will cause for a woman who is already an outkast for the society just for pursuing singing and not marriage that she has already endured... and she doesnt want to stand in the hurricane of that again just because shes not a "debutant" and he is a "lord". And also cause her career has given her liberties she doesnt want to give up just for "love". She already was abandoned by anthony, and i think she cant trust him again to put her life on a stake. Cause he could always dudged the bullet just for being a man, but she could lost everything if "love" doesnt conquer all. But well those are just my thoughts.

I thought it was also mainly due to the fact that she was thinking of the repercussions that it would have on Anthony and everything that he would have to endure. His ‘honor’ would be questioned. And I know in this time period, a man’s honor was something of the utmost importance. If you were not deemed to have honor, were you even considered a man? I think, in a sense, she wanted to save him or protect him. And I also feel that she was afraid to trust him again, potentially be abandoned and then be broken.

I mean, they started out great, but I couldn't get over his lying about kids and her basically forcing him to potentially have one and it was all glossed over at the end... Idk, I really disliked that. I'm open to watching more seasons exactly because they'll have different characters as focus, so yeah, hopefully others are better. ☺

I agree the main couple’s story is so meh and manipulative. So not good for a relationship. If not for their chemistry the show wont work. Anyway, this edit is so good! And I love your song choice! I actually felt for Siena. I think youll like the second season more because the rumor is that it will center around Anthony and his story is way WAYYY better (and healthier) than Daphne+Simon.

i wish they didn’t make him love her. it completely disregards how anthony is portrayed in the books. never loving anyone but kate. they should’ve made it more accurate by having him date someone different every episode because then it would show him as a ‘rake.’

He didn’t love her. He never said that too. The problem is that people think that sex/emotional dependence is love. But it’s not. You can tell he didn’t love her (and she didn’t love him) by the last scene.
