Someone please explain to me why, in America, when a welfare check is requested, and police can't get anybody to the door, they leave? I hear this time and time again. In England, the request is not complete until they make contact with the person. Someone could be laying in there dying and in the US officers are like "oh well" everything must be fine. It drives me mad.

I’m not sure how it works in every other US state, but in my state a welfare check is not a warrant to enter into a residence. The only way to forcibly entire a private residence is if there is probable cause (visible and obvious signs a crime has been or is being committed) or a warrant. Other than that, all the police can do is attempt to make contact. For instance, if a police officer can see through a window that there is an unconscious body, then they can forcibly enter. But if there is no reasonable indication of anything going awry, they cannot enter.

To be clear, a percentage is just another way to express a fraction with a 100 denominator. When used to express a fraction over a finite amount of something, then 100% is your max. When you express growth over time for example 1000% growth would be correct to say.

Your analysis was very insightful. I think it taps into this idea of how much our identity is interwoven with our career, and our financial and professional success. For some people, a failure in this domain is life shattering and the guilt and shame are just unbearable. In this tragic case, the addition of criminal activity and failure to accept responsibility just added to the problem. Obviously not everyone who experience a financial loss will go on to commit crimes, this was an extreme case which certainly involves many other factors. However, I think in general it’s important to not equate losing to being a loser, failing is important in life and part of the process of achieving goals. The pressure we put on ourselves to succeed and avoid failure can be so anxiety inducing and may actually debilitate us. Excellent review Dr. Grande, thank you.❤️

Maybe they do, and living with their corpses makes them feel at ease. That also might be why some of these criminals cover their bodies, so their rotten skin and corpse doesn't make them remember that they're dead and won't come back. Interesting that the Chris Watts case was (and still is to some degree) all over America yet this family annihilator is virtually unheard of. I wonder why that is? Any ideas?
@violetvalentine9992 жыл бұрын
celebration, fl was originally developed by the walt disney company, mere minutes away from disneyworld. to maintain their image, disney will pour every cent they have into snuffing out media coverage of someone even so much as tripping on their premises, let alone murdering their entire family 😞🖕🐭

Chris Watts looks fit and healthy, we have a more difficult time seeing him as a murderer. It seems more interesting to try to figure out why it happened. Murderers come in all shapes and sizes and people have a hard time seeing that.

Shannon watts was a KZbinr with a following so already had a public presence. Lots of video of her acting sweet made for a better story.
@Saturn082 жыл бұрын
i thought this sounded pretty similar. i think its because of the watt's quick case. it all happened really quickly, and it was quite dramatic. with chris acting like he was all sweet and nice on camera in my opinion, if shannan was that bad, he should leave. if she really was that bitter, controling and frustrating he should have left. its infurating that people blame her, or the kids, for his own actions. it is the same here. this man is just as vile
@wps11502 жыл бұрын
I think as almost every aspect of the watts case was recorded and released plus she had lots of public happy family videos prior to the event made for an easy documentary to piece together. They are both evil. I don’t know what’s worse, Chris Watts burying/putting kids in oil drums to your own family or Anthony hanging around the rotting corpses….Amazing they didn’t kill themselves. I guess that makes them cowards.

Surprised to not hear about OCEAN, though I guess there's been less celebrity life analysis and speculation and more case analysis and speculation. I enjoy hearing your side of things, but do miss hearing more of the life analysis of people not entirely tied to cases like this. Keep up the good content! Sounds like Anthony may have been way better off in the long run given his temperament and family background when cutting his losses much earlier on while in an applied medical science program or soon after when trying to make the grade too when it comes to getting enough numbers of new patients who actually come to their scheduled appointments. Maybe he would have been better off apprenticing somewhere for a guy often named Joe like in Paris right now too like a teacher at a prep school for women wanting to enter into the trades that I used to have by the first name of Mary while he was falling into line with all of the favorite stereotypes about who all should be the blue collar workers or the priests which people like to hold onto so dearly while almost everyone else too is worrying too much about what they will wear and what kind of car they will get to drive themselves to work while trying to fit into the world of white collar professionalism too when trying to feed all of the hungry mouths at home? My teacher Mary was sure good at carving wooden doors instead of only hoping they would stay open for her.
