In fact… some of the tracks feel Sonic-y, some feel like they're from Bomberman, and some are just random notes that occasionally form a "melody". There's no cohesion or main theme tying the whole thing together. Truly awful soundtrack!

One observation I've made about this game is the random hodgepodge of sound effects from different sources SMW, Yoshi's Island, SM64, Sunshine, potentially some from M&L, and even the GBA SDK

I used to play this game when I was quite young, maybe like 6-7. So I didn't really know how to play very efficiently/well. This game was practically impossible for me then, and now it just seems tedious and barely entertaining. I rarely got frustrated (I was a pretty laid-back kid) but this seems like something that would frustrate the hell out of me now.

I don't know if this happened to everybody, but on my game, every time I closed the game without save&quitting, it would wipe my save. After multiple times of almost beating bowser and losing my mind over it, I accidently wiped the save when my gameboy ran out of batteries. I wanted to cry.
