I also use the Luminance Range Mask to fix clipping by selecting it with the "Click anywhere to sample..." eye dropper. Then I adjust to fix the clippings in one swoop, Black and then White using separate Luninance Range for each. I only use this when I have a everything just right, but the clipping can't be controlled because of out of range luminace.

Thanks for the tip but why do you not want to keep the J key indicator on all the time?

I leave mine on all the time. I think it's a matter of your personal working technique. I like them on whether global or masking because if I move some other slider I may stray into clipping territory. With the indicators on I will see it right away and correct it.

You had the sky as the subject so thats why the clipping in the shadows didn’t change when you moved the black slider?

HI Anthony, Is it that the Blue Clipping indicator doesn't work because you would have to invert the mask to adjust the Black points that are all on the ground?
