About 2 months ago I thought about getting a part-time job. Also, I started studying to increase my tech skills so I could look for a new job later in the year. But then...God! Three weeks ago I answered a call from a recruiter and mentioned that I was thinking about looking later in the year after I brushed up on my skillset. Well, he convinced me to take a later call later in the day since I was on the clock at work. Turns out that the contract job that he was offering was nearly the exact same contract job that I already had with a different contracting company...working with the same people. Turns out that one of the people that I was working with was leaving his position & the door was wide open for me. The difference in pay was eye-opening. Oh, but by the grace of God.

And that said, God is God and He is sovereign. That said, someone who gives above 10% is not necessarily going to receive monetarily in return. In His sovereignty, God determines how/what He will give us.

This message is right on time for me! I can honestly say no, I'm not doing well in my stewardship. I pay my tithes faithfully but to manage/budget what's left. But honestly as a single mom of 3, working the same job for 3 years and not given a raise I must use my talents and gifts to help my household. And get around people who God directs me to who are where I desire to be.

I’m doing better than I have done in a long time, -- Myself, and my life has really change a lot, from the last two years I was gambling all my money away and now, I have changed everything and I as so happy now then I ever been in my life, with myself. My car had a Emergency, needed to be repaired. Mercedes Benz - it was pricey, almost $ 2,000 dollars, but since I had changed my spending I had the money for the hold expensive of my repair, so you are so right. My life is so blessed now - God has really been in the driving seat of my life

Insisting on the highest standards and I can def be in a better place by age 30. 48% goes to savings(401k, mutual funds, Roth, emergency fund) 24% goes to rent and utilities (that will change next month as I’m moving in with family to accelerate my net worth and to get a house) but 28% I need to be better with.(no debt)

Anthony, what people fail to realize, and for some, they fail to believe, is that money can't be gotten directly. More clearly stated, money cannot be acquired by setting out to attain it first. Why? Because money is a by-oroduct. That means money is a side effect. Again, it can't be gotten directly. That is not understood by virtually all people. Money can only only only be gotten by pursuing AND attaining Excellence. After that is achieved, money comes as a side effect.

I've seen people make 40k and buy a home and people making 100k plus and can't sustain their resources they're to busy trying to impress others.
