Okay so story time. They were actually angry and fired up during this performance. You could tell the energy was different. This was because in MAMA 2020, Stray Kids didn't get a single nomination even though they had one of the biggest years of their career. God's Menu was such a hit in 2020 internationally and they broke through 500k albums sales with their In Life album. And yet not a single nomination. And then Mnet has the audacity to use Stray Kids for views by having them film a MAMA countdown. They were invited to MAMA 2020 without any nominations just to promote Kingdom AND according to their choreographer they only had a week or two to prepare this performance. So of course they went and chose a b side from 2019 to perform. Not even a song from 2020 or a title track but a b side from 2019 called Victory Song. With lyrics that talk about winning a battle before it even starts. Which they were right about since they went and won Kingdom after this so 🤷 Han actually released his Skz player song I got it right after MAMA nominations were announced and the lyrics were self explanatory. Right after the performance, Chan actually went live while MAMA was still airing (and he had more real-time viewers than the MAMA livestream) and played I got it while saying that "Han must have had his reasons for writing this song" so I'd say the diss was very much intended towards MAMA and Mnet.

for me it's the way they killed the stage despite being notified that they'll perform in last minute. they've had the shortest span of time to prepare and practice out of all artists and they still created a high-quality performance.

Love this, so awesome, especially as mama that year was not the greatest towards them. I love this version definitely the best for me. The MV is great, but the extra member confuses me when I see him - undefeated. This show was watched a lot when Hyunjin went into hiatus. Oh the Changbin move was hilarious ❤ such a cool fierce fighter

Just watched this song in their concert in Singapore and OMFG!!! Felix's voice is not being shown even 30% in these videos!!!!! His live performance is off the top I was not expecting to hear his voice so thick and rich and loud yet so deep at the same time!!! I was just soooo blown away by his skills and energy and so proud of him!!!!!!!

I loved this performance, even if I'm a bit of a history nerd and the props could be better... If they had to put this together in a little time, they slayed. I love to hear their voices over the backup vocals. It has some epicness I love. All of them. They deserved nominations, prices and way more recognition. "Don't you know who we are?" We know, Changbin. All the world will know.
