I love that not only are the phenomenal musicians, but during Covid they had a KZbin series called "HU's in the kitchen?" where they showed us them cooking Mongolian food. They couldn't do a better job for The Mongolian Tourist Board... their Sponsors. Not sure about the others, but the original four were all trained at their county's Music Conservatoire in Ulaanbataar.

I am so happy you are doing The HU. My absolute favourite group seen them live at Glastonbury and Download Fstival. The band's name translates to the Mongolian root word for human being, and their unique sound blends instruments like the Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), Tovshuur (Mongolian guitar), Tumur Khuur (jaw harp) and throat singing with contemporary sounds, creating a unique sonic profile that they call “Hunnu Rock.” The HU not only wrote the original tune specifically for the game, but they also penned its lyrics in a fictional language authentic to Star Wars, created with the guidance of Lucasfilm and Respawn. I was blown away by this I can imagine them lining up for battle and when the instrumental starts battle starts. Check out their collaborations. Izzy Halestone Jakoby Shaddix and Mother Nature with LP is simply beautiful

Nice! Was literally thinking about how many songs he should check out, the one with Lzzy Hale is probably my favorite! I got to see them live twice, one in D.C. at a small venue...maybe 150 ish people right before Covid shut everything down, and a year or so ago in Philly, they are amazing live!!!

They are Mongolian throat singers. The morin khuur is a traditional Mongolian stringed instrument made up of a rectangular sound box and long neck surmounted by a carved horse's head, below which are two tuning pegs, resembling ears. The two strings are traditionally made of horse hair as are the strings of the bow.

If you listen to Black Thunder, you get the Mongolian version of this song. =) Also the twang noise is from a mouth harp. You get to see it in their The Great Chinggis Khaan video.

These are voices that move your insides. It is a guttural sound evoking the most basic and primal and powerful feeling. Powerful sound to, without a doubt, convey a powerful idea and message... And we don't even know the lyrics!... but somehow we feel it. Good reaction. Thanks.

The Hu is absolutely “EPIC”. I love watching travel vlogs and I followed a Japanese (VISITING THE KAZAKHSTAN and UZBEKISTAN COUNTRIES) traveler and he said, “ when the ASIAN Males got TESTOSTERONE he felt he as an ASIAN got a 1/4 percent…it was so hilarious 🤣. I thought it’s believable when you view the HU from MONGOLIA. I love their TRIBUTE SONG to “CHENGGIS KHAN”. My favorite song is “THE SAME” but it’s not an MV…it’s a lyric video. They are just INCREDIBLE. Loved ❤your REACTION.

The HU are, at present, the only real world group to become canon in the Star Wars universe. Many of us want to see them do a cameo sometime playing in a cantina somewhere. Preferably interacting with Cal Kestis from Fallen Order.

OK, this is what I gleaned online, correct me if necessary. When the were asked to do a thing for Star Wars, what they did was first do a song in Mongolian, then change the words for Star Wars. If you like this, you should watch the videos for Black Thunder part 1 and 2. If you haven't done it, do it.
