I saw Alice In Chains, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax at the Civic Center in Columbus , OH on the Clash of The Titans tour. Still in High School and 17. My friend's mom worked at the school in the AV dept. So we had a morning radio show that was hosted by metal heads everyday before school. In which they would participate in Battle of The Bands as well. What a great time it was.

I totally remember the Anthrax episode and I was so in love w Kelly Bundy and Christina Applegate in general. She was and still is gorgeous and has a sense of humor. I actually knew about Anthrax because my dad raised me on Public Enemy and Anthrax while their song they did w Anthrax Bring the Noise was big during this era.. but it wasn't until I saw this episode that I truly got turned onto them and discovered all of their albums, and I been a fan since. The snowflakes of today would have a meltdown if this show was on in todays over-sensitive society. In the 90s I grew up with the Bundys just like how my older siblings grew up w the Huxtables in the 80s lol. I lived in Illinois my whole life, and every time we'd take a trip downtown and pass Buckingham fountain I'd always say look ma the love in the marriage fountain because that was the Frank Sinatra song used in the opening credits.

I cant belive they just mentioned it as I was watching this video. I may still have the t shirt. It was epic. Alic in chains saud something rude about Connecticut (where I saw it). Married...With Children is my favorite sitcom of all time. I was 16 when it began in 1987. The first 2 seasons, when it was underground, have always been my favorite. FOX(who USED to be my favorite station before selling out by running sports) screwed the show and cast ROYALLY by ending the show the way they did, not even allowing them a chance at a proper send-off episode for it's LEGIONS of loyal fans! Anyway, I love Anthrax, remember this episode well, and always wondered how they wound up on the show.

The first couple years of Fox were some of their best and most iconic. Shows like in living color, married with children and The Simpsons become some of the most remembered shows of the last 30 years. The fact that three out of the four main cast of married with children are still acting to this day is astonishing to me. I have to say Katty Sagal herself has more range than almost anyone on that show. (Sorry Ed O'Neill.)

The working title before it was married with children was “not the Cosby show” because they wanted exactly that, a dysfunctional family At that time the the Cosby show being a positive black role model show had what’s known as the huckstable effect where a huge upsurge in black people enrolled at college and bettering their lives. The fact fox were insisting on this show makes one wonder why ???

While Christina Applegate was undeniably gorgeous, I thought (and still think) that Katey Segal was one of the hottest women on television. Having Anthrax on that show just made it that much more fun, while learning that both Christina and Katey are actually very smart ladies made me love them that much more. And all these years later, I still want to see Riki Rachtman get hit in the face.
