There needs to less accidental pregnancy and more marriage; and planning in making a real family! I had a friend who had 4 abortions, why?. 1 she was stupid 2 she didn't want to raise them alone and on welfare. Number 2 I can relate to that is why i have no children yet.

I don't know what I find more offensive... 1- The assumption that sisters are too stupid and infantile to know how to handle their lives and bodies as they see fit or, 2- people (Black men too) trying to scare sisters with eugenics horror stories to keep us popping out Black babies out of race loyalty. Here sisters stand on the crossroads of sexism and racism--being torn apart daily when they have to choose who to support. Ladies, let's start supporting ourselves first and foremost.

@Cancerian1976 I see where you are coming from I really do. My parents were together for 45yrs with 6 children. We were not , but we made it, my mother and father made it work. You think there was racism back then. This was before KING, it will not be easy i am not saying it is. But if you create family units, not rich family units but real Family Units. Abortions will come down, money is not stopping us from getting pregnant so why would it stop us from supporting each other through marriage,

@Cancerian1976 "Destroy the family structure with interracial adoption and abortion" Adoption is a whole other story, but if you have a strong family structure the chances of both of these happening are rare. My aunt died and left a son,he did not go into adoption, why? because my family took him. You can blame racism but you must out smart it don't let it bring you down. I don't understand the interracial thing you mentioned.

I raised six babies- they do not consume resources they do take some time- watch TV less and stay out of a bar thoise the things they cost babies take more resources than grown ups? they can lont take two bites out of a big mac
