TEE-nuh bc he’s watching a white female? That’s not hot and flashy’s targeted demographic and second, men don’t really do skincare (I have 5 brothers so I know). Third of all, those with melanin have better skin since they have less sun damage, you cant see redness and vascular as well etc. If you look around, those with darker skin tones tend to have better looking skin at the same age as rhe paler folks. So basically he doesn’t NEED to take care of skin as much as white ppl do since it doesn’t photo-age as much. Kudos to him for doing self care
@msrenee61354 жыл бұрын
TEE-nuh Maybe he felt like recognizing his demographic. As a black female I understand that there are some specifics for African American skin and it is a co-sign of her channel. Example as a black female i was told in my younger years we didn’t need sunscreen because we had melanin in our skin. We now know that’s not true. Darker black skin cant do fibroblast or IPL. And there are many more. Not sure why you asked.

Angie, you’re my favorite influencer; you are so responsible and thoughtful. I just wanted to mention for your charitable viewers, if they use Amazon smile, it doesn’t change the cost and Amazon donates to your favorite charities. It’s not much, but most charities appreciate any small amount, and you can choose your own charity. So you can donate locally, regionally, or globally to whatever cause you believe in.

I love the fact that you are making videos from the standpoint of a mature woman (who looks fantastic) than from the view of a 25-30 something. Hi Angie - I've been watching you for a couple of years now and I'm so impressed by your knowledge of skin care and the science behind it. I think the biggest downfall in skincare is a lack if consistency. I started using a sunblock in 1966 and you should see my skin at 75 yeard old. I happened to run into a famous dermatologist (Erno Laszlo) at a skincare demonstration at 18 years old He talked me into using "Shake It" as a foundation which was just titanium dioxide. I used that for 20 years until it became hard to find. Consequently I have almost no lines or wrinkles even now at 75. Thank you for carrying that torch forward. I will continue to follow you since you tell the truth and preach consistency which is the most important part of skincare regime. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!❤

Robin Michaels I agree 100%. That is so kind and caring. Angie's the best! I just love her personality, she's one of my favorite utubers, I'm turning 52 this year and like Angie I baked for many many years in the sun. And until very recently, I had an allergy to all things sunscreen. I couldn't even use the Chapstick with sunscreen, it made my lips swell so bad it looked like I put a vacuum over my lips, lol. Even if my children had sunscreen on and I would kiss them on their head, my lips swelled and looked the same. I saw my dermatologist for that, we tried many different kinds of sunscreen, but none agreed with my skin. Fast forward to 50, and I've been able to use a Neutrogena moisturizer with sunscreen. It's amazing that they aren't bothering me now, but now I'm trying to find a great skincare routine that is most beneficial to my skin. And through Angie's video's, specifically about skin care. She explains the science behind these products also. I've learned a lot. Not nearly enough though. I enjoy learning more about the products I'm putting on my skin. Thanks Angie, you're the best💜

The best pore reducer I’ve found is a Korean trick (I’m Native American, not Korean): a big tablespoon of plain yogurt, a teaspoon of raw honey, 1/4 tsp of ground turmeric. Mix and paint on your face like any mask. Leave on 8-10 minutes. Make sure you use a dedicated washcloth to wash it off, because it’ll stain it yellow. Once a week treatment. Pimples: the best control both myself and my teenage sons have had is with a face bar from the health food store. $8, lasts for 4-5 months with all of us using it. It has lemongrass and sandalwood oils in it. My skin has never been so smooth and no more breakouts (I’ve got combination skin, but the oily areas are VERY oily; this has resolved that very well).

First of all… I have to say that your skin is amazing. I had watched you a long time ago and was following your many of your recommendations, especially the timeless serums and the retinol. I often took many of your recommendations for make up especially foundation and concealer and just many other things that you used. I got sick and had major surgery and I had just let things go but I’m getting back on with my skin care and you just look like you’re glowing like a pregnant woman, in a good way. Your skin looks glowing but not greasy, firm without being “filled, although you may have fillers, but I don’t care about that one way or another. You have the freedom to do whatever looks great for you and whatever you’re doing is so good. I know a lot of it is how you take care of your skin, but then what you put on top of it matters as well. I’m not sure if you wearing a type of BB cream, cc cream or just the tinted moisturizer or if you’re using the Sephora tinted moisturizer or the Estee Lauder hydration foundation? It’s whatever you used in your most recent failed and winners video. It’s actually your most recent video!

HI, Thanks for providing all the products for the skin. My daughter and I use CeraVe and love it. I watched your other video on Retin-A and I started remembering that back in the 70s, I broke out with pumps on my face and back and my doctor gave me a small container of pink liquid that looked a little like pepto bismal but slightly thicker, it was Retin-A, probably in the purest form; it was very powerful. I suffered every time I applied it on my skin, there was a lot of tingling and I felt like scratching the area real bad, but I use to take short blowing breaths and wave my hands around the area to cool it down. The agony lasted for about one minute, then the next day, my skin would start peeling. My sister's face had holes from acne and she used it with me at the same time, so you could imagine how we looked breathing and waving our hands around the areas to cool it, it really was tormenting. In the end, my skin looked new, nice and soft and my sister's face holes were much smaller. We use it for several weeks. About two years later when I was 18, I had a problem getting into dancing clubs because I had to show ID which I didn't have with me. My sister and friends had to convince the door person to let me in and this happened quite often. About 10 years ago, my friend, her husband and I were coming out of a dinner and show place and a waiter approached me asking if he should give the receipt to my "mother" and looked at my friend, who was is year younger than me. Today I'm in my 60s and with some eyebrow pencil color on, and a little blush, I look like I'm in my 40s and I believe that's because of the Retin-A. I can't find that type of Retin-A anywhere because my doctors don't know what it is and I would really like to get some more, I don't mind the torment,lol. The doctor who gave it to me passed away and his office doesn't exist anymore. I appreciate if you have seen this type of Retin-A, you can tell me where I can get it from. Thank you very much for all the tips.

Just researching now about Tretonoin and a skin care regimen:) I’m turning 52 in about 2 weeks and am noticing my skin could use some support. I’ve always gone completely natural bc I understand what you put ON your skin, you put IN your bloodstream. Feeling really cautious about adding a pharmaceutical into my regimen, and totally wanting these amazing results you’ve achieved! Starting slow by watching all your videos first :)) You look amazing!

ANGIE! ok I know you are flooded with comments but PLEASE make a skincare video targeting women in their early 30s!!! A skincare video on things you would have done around that age! I know you look stunning and as a woman in that age category I know plenty of your subscribers would die to know if you could rewind the clock a bit what you’d have done differently! I absolutely love your channel and I think you could reach so many women in this age group. Just an idea for future videos... thank you so much for all the knowledge you provide. God bless you ❤️

Hi from sweden I want to thank u for getting me into skin care at 43 years old. As a mother of 4 children i never had the time to think of skin care, and i really need to start. I never did sit in the sun because i get itchy and bumpy skin from it. But oh do i have sun spots anyway, YES ! I cant use makeup do to allergi so my goal is to get skin that dont need it. Im sorry to say that a lot of the skincare u use u cant get in sweden, and if u could it would be 3 times the price. And retin A u just cant get. So its a struggle out here to try to look your best. Thank u again for helping me taking care of myself. Love love your videos and I see the hard work thats behind them 💓

Hy Angie, I'm Alessandra from Italy. I se that in the morning after vit.c serum and lactic acid 10%, you put on your skin peptides and niacinamide. I read that peptides and niacinamide conflicts with acids and vit. C. Also The Ordinary says not mix them. What do you think about it. Thank you and sorry for my bad english.
@florafauna61854 жыл бұрын
Alessandra Ugazzi I've been thinking about same thing. Would love a comment from Angie.
@sheilablake48584 жыл бұрын
Alessandra Ugazzi firstly your English is great, well done on speaking a second language : ) I wouldn’t mix them either, I trust the ordinary and have seen a great change in my skin since using their products. You can email them with your skincare concerns, and every time I’ve messaged them to ask a question, someone has always messaged me back within a day with answers to my question, or help prescribe a full routine for me. I’ve done that every 3 months & they’ve helped adapt my routine to help my changing (and improving) skin. I hope this helps, whether you buy your ingredients from them or not, at least you’re getting real knowledge from a skincare pharmaceutical, rather than an influencer. And I adore Angie, I just don’t think all the advice is always 100% correct. I hope this helps you in some way. All the best 💕

I'm 39 and look young for my age but definitely have visible wrinkles around my eyes despite using anti-aging eye products since my 20's. I'm going to try your suggestion of using my general face skincare under my eyes instead of specific eye products. I'm very impressed...You are GOALS, gurl.

I do love Curology, though I have a hard time getting them to bump up the Tretinoin. When I started with them over a year ago, I was already using a 0.1% prescription Tret, and yet they still haven't allowed me to go above .07%. I'm very close to cancelling for that reason.

Thank you! I'm searching on this issue right now! I'm pretty new and told them I didn't want to start really new and yea they start everyone at the same level. If you haven't been able to get it changed I think I'll be going to my dermatologist for Retin A. Any update for you?

I went to my annual dermatologist appointment a few weeks ago and she said my skin looks great....TWICE! I've been following Angie's routine for about 2 years with the more gentle cleaners, the Timeless products, and Timeless retinol. My sunscreen choice is the Paula's Choice Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30. In Arizona we NEED sunscreen but I find most too thick. Sunscreen, gentle face-wash, and retinol should be your top 3 to start with, IMO.
