This demo was the work of one Dev. Many streamers have played and loved this demo. I only hope he keeps working on it and we get either an early release soon or a full release down the road. The song that plays is supposedly by his brother and the dev himself is the voice of Garrett.

Great demo. Pretty mysterious. Im almost tempted to buy it myself, but im afraid the farming/exploring mechanics wont be the developers focus. There isnt a lot of story to analyze.. Something traumatic happened the day before the long drive; about his parents or a woman named Claire, his ex-girlfriend perhaps, "It was the day after everything went down. I didnt have anyone anymore". Im guessing the mother is deceased, based on the disembodied voice in the beginning and Garret wanting to uphold his promise to her. The father is still alive, and they must have a strange relationship since Garret chose to write him a letter. He didnt tell anybody else where he was going, a bit suspicious. Sounds like a revenge plot perhaps. Chapter 6 was called "A diseased couple". So maybe Claire succumbed to a terminal illness, or the mother did. Or maybe its referring to an unhealthy dynamic between his parents. Garret might blame his dad for something bad that happened, and want to lure him to a secluded area. The way Claire is sitting in the end, with all the leaves, looks like she might have been decapitated and left in the woods. The big face could suggest a witness, maybe it was his mother and he is on a murder-spree. Im really grasping at straws here, im basically just guessing lol.

the developer has said there will be an endless mode for those who enjoy the farming part. the property is pretty large so exploring is gonna be kinda fun and expansive. the story supposedly should be like 4 hours according to developer.

@@SirHorned19 maybe I'm mistaken. I thought there was a shape to the side of the window, but that might just be the boards inside lol. Around 28:09 it seemed like something might be up there, but I'm not sure 0_0
