To me your expecting Burton to stick to his back ground, I fell that this is the way forward for Burton and I fully support him. And yes Burton can my play an instrument. As the biggest guitar parts on Ascension of the watchers album apocrypha is done by burton.

16:54 the dude with Death t-shirt says there are so many better vocalists. I'm really interested. Who are they? Can you make me a list of at least 5 of them if there are so many, please? We are talking about vocalists who can perform FF songs better than Burton (in his prime). If so I find it strange that Dino had to find his proper replacement in Italy in Milo Silvestro (by luck kinda because he just did some FF covers that impressed Dino) and who was a totally unknown dude before. Italy is not even such a great country for metal in general. If there are so many better vocalists than Burton it would be easy for Dino (who knows many people in the metal scene and he has connections) to find them even in the USA but he found them zero. I'm really hoping for the list now.

Within death metal he means not specifically for fear factory. Burton was good in his early days but really thrashed his voice and that has left him suffering

@@adkrockandmetal Well ok but Burton is known for his style, a mix of shouted and clean vocals with death growls. Even death metal vocalists in general don't have voices capable of such a mix. Also the dude here is talking about Burton's vocals on Demanufacture album (many FF fans consider it the best FF album) when Burton's voice wasn't thrashed. So if there are so many other better vocalists (for FF songs) as he says I'm just curious who they are.

"it doesn't sound like fear factory." He's not trying to sound like Fear Factory. It sounds more groove and gothic because that more so lines up with Burton's tastes musically. It's definitely a niche song. It's very minimalistic when it comes to composition. I think the song is mostly Burton's way of telling his fans in metal that he's still around. He's still doing the harsh vocals. the production. the writing. the creativity. Shit that is, honestly, in question for Fear Factory now that he's gone. Are they gonna have the writing chops without Burton? We'll see. I don't think this song is meant to be catchy, and hooky. I think it's really just a commentary from Burton. and he likely didn't expect everyone to get it.
