mt dad was there 1970-74, comandos near the border, they were abandoned and left with no supplies for weeks, my dad sold storage g3 and ammo to rhodesia to get the money and food and an old truck to leave to the south, thats how bad it was in the end.

@@johnnotrealname8168 The Portuguese did win the war. We lost our African holdings because of the regime change in Portugal by communists which then released all the colonies in Africa.

Its very sad to see how the Portuguese had to leave Mozambique, due to stupid reasons with the government in portugal otherwise the Portuguese developed and did well for the countries now without them Mozambique is so corrupted by the locals and have no sympathy for innocent people. Portugal worked very hard.
