3:06 as a band kid I can confirm that there actually are masks for playing instruments. In the middle of the mask there are 2 pieces of fabric (one that goes over the other) so you can slip your mouth piece into the mask while still protecting other people. On the bells of the instruments there are mask coverings for them too.

I wear masks all the time, but i do have a hard time catching my breath when talking for a while with the mask on. That could just be because i don't talk a lot so maybe my lungs are just not used to that. It doesn't really hurt me but i have been a little annoyed talking to my therapist and my therapist thinking im choking up crying when im just trying to BREATH. Still though no excuse to refuse a mask. I like having to work a little harder to keep my breath than having a ventilator

But in your case it maybe a little difficult to balance it out, perhaps briefly taking off the mask on set intervals and taking a breath of air but make sure it isn’t near anyone just in case.

Funny thing is that some scientists have done a test with, if I recall, 5 youngs around 17 yo, with no respiratory illness, and 5 people around 70~80 yo with COPD, and you know what they found out ??? What do you mean surgeons don’t use their masks for long periods of time they switch them out. For masks to really work they need to be disposable or reusable masks need to be washed in between uses and after every couple of hours we switch our masks. Studies from many political and non political universities all have different results. I will still wear my mask but how can the government mandate masks when the only studies show around 100% or around 0% it’s obvious theirs no proof to support any side cause all the proof is politically motivated.

Admittedly, I had my complaints when those mandates happened back in 2020, but I still worn them, because keeping my status as a law abiding citizens was much more important.
