For the record, I HATE wearing a mask. It fogs my glasses, my face gets sweaty, it can be miserable. But I do anyway. Because It's not about my comfort or "rights". Yes, I don't want to get sick, but I also don't want to cause anyone else to get sick. Some people somehow forget that they are not the center of the universe, and sadly will never figure that out. This is why we've had multiple outbreaks.

Masks can be useful -even when they're low grade paper as stopping some is better than none-, but when misused as they wildly were do more harm than good. Also, washing your hands is significantly more effective at stopping spread, but was hardly even suggested.

My buddy is 100% anti-mask, anti-vax. So I asked him what he does when he goes shopping and one of these stores requires a mask. He said he respects their rights as a private business and puts a mask on for the 10 minutes he's in the store. Who'd have thought it was that simple?

A few years before covid hit, I was at school, and a sewage line leaked. It stunk up half the school for a few hours, I had a mask that came with a jacket I ordered. It helped block out most of the smell, and it also helped keep my face warm on the winter. Also wore it when burning leaves, should have seen the filter when I was done. Had zero problems wearing it before or during covid.

I am not against masks by no means if people want to wear them wear them but if they worked so well it wouldn't matter if others aren't wearing them. If social distancing and mask were enough it wouldn't matter if one person went without a mask. If people did everything correctly they wouldn't just wear a mask they would also wear a face shield or some other device that shields their entire face let alone their eyes as it isn't just breathing that is spreading the virus it is being carried by mucus droplets that can linger in the air for up to 30 mins. Those mucus droplets are much more likely to land in and infect someone much more quickly through eye contact than if you breathe them in.

That's why not wearing a mask is disrespectful towards others and if one person doesn't wear a mask, it does affect other people because that one person without a mask can infect everyone else. About the first part: YOU don't have the right to end someone else's freedom, your freedom does. I can't be walking around throwing grenades into poeple because I would end their life to which they have a right to.

Went to Las Vegas for a few days last month. Had to wear a mask on the plane. The flight left Pittsburgh at an ungodly hour of the morning. I slept almost all the way from Pittsburgh to Phoenix (nah, we didn't have a nonstop) with that mask on, and was no worse for the wear. So, as far as the jagoffs in this video.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🖕

I actually have diagnosed anxiety and find masks kinda comforting because not only do I get to hide my face and ppl don't look twice but the feeling is nice to me idk if it's weird😅 I also press my blankets to my mouth cus it calms me down think it came from that but I can't be the only one right?

Same, I actually like wearing my mask because it also makes me feel more safe from people staring at me. But I know not everyone has the same issues I do. But I think I'm just going to keep the mask, even if this pandemic ever ends. I haven't even gotten sick once with even a normal cold or flu since I started wearing it out too. So that's another huge plus.

As someone who has had Covid before trust me you do not want to get it. I am a healthy 19 yr old who got put on my ass by Covid, I couldn't breath because of the amount of coughing, I had a small pit open the back of my mouth that stopped me from being able to even drink water without severe pain. I got stuck to eating Mac'n Cheese for a week cause i couldnt eat anything else.
