Does it make a difference if the pouch isn't level with the forks .is it not shooting high .

Do you think if your limbs were a little lower, closer to the line of the release mech, it might be easier to aim? It seems like the angle of the bands is giving you that high arc to the trajectory. I'm thinking if they were lower the ball would still dip but it would be easier to account for, because it wouldn't be going up then down with the slingshot held horizontal.

I was thinking the complete opposite when I built it, well aware it was going to arc like a rainbow I thought this would help because I'd just need to figure out at what range the stock was lined up with the target

The rubber is a bit weak for those balls. What an enterprising young man like yourself should do is get some 1" steel cable, a Hydraulic ram and use the stretched the cable to launch the ball. THEN you would get a flat trajectory! :0) Of course may not work but sure would be one hell of an entertaining vid that's for certain!!

Top Tip !!! Spray your ammo Balls luminous Orange and you can find them again !! I got tired of making lead ammo balls with my mould only to never find a single fucking one again... I now get a fair share of them back as the orange shows up well in grass and the likes.. Laters ;]
