My now deceased son had a terminal condition. He was also into Punk Rock. One day I heard him while he was looking at the screen on his PC (this was in 2004) "Anti-Flag are coming to Australia, I won't be able to see them." As his father I had to do something about it. He was struggling with life as it was let alone we as a family weren't that financial. I remembered of an organisation known as "Make A Wish" WOW WHAT AN ORGANISATION! He not only saw them at an alcohol free venue in Melbourne but a whole lot more (including THE WHOLE FAMILY BEING ABLE TO GO BACK STAGE). It was the last time he, his mother, his brother and myself went out as a family. A night I, his mother and his brother (who is now a dad himself and giving his new son a second name to match that of his late brother) will NEVER forget. In 2005 the songs were against GW. Bush now Trump. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE USA if not just for you but for the rest of the world VOTE HIM OUT.

Their older stuff is more punk, but they got progressively more and more alternative than punk. Same story with Green Day. You know what, I along with many people here were duped into loving this band. Now I despise them. "The members of Anti-Flag have been awfully quiet. The Pittsburgh-based punk band, who once loudly championed progressive, social justice causes in their songs, suddenly broke up in July 2023 after a woman alleged that its frontman, Justin “Sane” Geever, violently raped her years prior. Not only did the long-time music outfit disband, they shut down their social media platforms and, besides releasing a handful of official statements, including one responding to a damning Rolling Stone article that detailed the many other accusations against Geever, disappeared from public view. Almost a year later, Geever and his former bandmates Pat “Thetic” Bollinger, Chris Head, and Chris Barker are being forced back into the spotlight. This time, it’s not only Geever being scrutinized, but the entire band, as a lawsuit seeks to hold all the men accountable for allegedly encouraging, enabling, and participating in the victimization of female fans, many of them underage. Kristina Sarhadi and her legal team released an amended complaint and request for a jury trial aimed at bringing Geever to justice. A statement provided to Pittsburgh City Paper on March 20 points out that Geever, facing “mounting legal pressure,” has “liquidated his assets, transferred money out of the country, and is planning to flee the United States according to new court filings.” The legal pressure includes a civil lawsuit filed in November 2023 by Sarhadi, who, during a podcast appearance, first accused a punk singer later revealed to be Geever of raping her in 2010 after meeting him at a show in Brooklyn. I remember when my dad first had me listen to Die For Your Government when I was about 7 because he found it through listening to Green Day, and thought it was kind of funny or whatever. I'm almost 14 now, and have recently started calling myself a full-fledged fan, and saying that this is my favorite band. 😂It's kind of hilarious, I was always super into Pop, etc., and now I've become really punk rock and punk pop. The majority of my friends are like whaaaaa when I show them that this is what I listen to. Right now, this is so so relevant, and listening to Anti-Flag is an amazing outlet and source of motivation. Also, your songs are awesome.

I’m an ex trump supporter, and honestly, I can’t believe how blind I was to the divide and suppress agenda he has been pushing. I feel so angry and so betrayed. I had put so much faith into him, and I was lied to the whole time, it wasn’t just him lying but the manipulation the media i waswatching was using. Two years ago I took an oath, promising my life if need be to the people and the constitution, I am proud to say i stand with all American people, we all need to be treated as the equals we are and not divided because of some old racists agenda. Please... some people in congress have been there for 30-60 years and are blaming Trump (who's been there for 3 years) for practically all the problems going on right now even though they haven't fixed them for over 30 years. Look at CHAZ in Seattle. They built a wall around their territory to keep track of who goes in and out and basically appointed police to keep things civil. No different than what's already going on.... I'm all for police/prison reform, ending racism and becoming less dependant of government, but this BLM shit is a joke. Look at their campaign for defunding the police. They don't even have a plan, just a few statements and goals. Why protest for something when you don't even have a viable plan to replace what you're protesting? 🤦‍♂️
