Eastern Rite. There is no Eastern Rite monastery in North America

There’s a western rite monastery in the US? Nice, I didn’t know that. I attend Eastern Rite but I’m glad the western rite exists for those that benefit from it. Orthodoxy has a western history too and sometimes I feel as if WR is frowned upon. However, I’ve never been to a WR so maybe it is as problematic as I’ve been told it is.

​​​@@milagroman75it depends on the parish's priest tbh, it is hard to govern a "baby rite" like WR (seeing as it is quite newly being ressurected and sustained by the Church after a ling period of its absence/diminishing after Rome did the silly things during and leading up to 1054) due to it's being highly spread out few and far between compared to Eastern Rite

They have a new Abridged Service Book for Priests and Deacons and are hoping people will use that as for a reprint of this particular book God knows.
