I am absolutely shocked that you don't have as many views as you should because your animation was just stunning and its been 5 years!!. I am in love with our main character's ability to, how to say, bend/manipulate reality slightly. It's very interesting to see. The reveal of the inside of the ship was jawdropping, the masks were all so detailed and their own style. The ship interior remimded me of blood vessels and muscle fibres. I wonder what all those glowing crystal-like samples are for. Maybe to add onto their abilities or ingredients for something? Honestly the entire scene reminded me a bit of Nausicaä of the valley of the wind.

Thank you! This was one of my first attempts at filmmaking, and it's nice to hear when things *work*- I can never be sure. Nausicaä is possibly my favorite film, by the way.

@@inhabitedworldswow! And you've done everything down to the sound... I came here from some "award winning" animation that was just boring to me, and seemed clumsily executed in comparison! Ah, how you master the walking! Such a weak point in endless animations, you got it so it took me awhile to realise how well it's done, because one doesn't see it, it's so realistic. I also love the character's shoes, and the wild cape or shawl is just amazing! Then, when they escape where the tree had fallen victim, that half globe (such good narration to introduce that beforehand!) gave me a moment of deep down cosy relief, I was so invested by then. Those sounds! What a perfect little piece of art, thank you ever so for the work and the upload. Now I'm off to my own stuff, but I'll be back to see more, looking forward to that very much!

Вначале подумал, что та ячеистая структура это часть звезды, освещающей эту планету (а значит, звезда этой планеты, а возможно и сама планета искусственны?), а потом понял, что это просто некий "корабль" на фоне этой звезды. Однако зачем обитатель (хотя скорее всё же обитательница) этого корабля забрала то растение (и из-за этого пещера обрушилась?), а также похоже забрала другие аналогичные "артефакты" на других планетах (или версиях этой же планеты в других измерениях)? Она хотела тем самым разрушить эти планеты, лишив их источника энергии? Или наоборот, она знала, что эти миры сами по себе по тем или иным причинам умирают и теперь хочет собрать и сохранить какие-то их частички (чтобы, может быть потом восстановить)? Однако, если её корабль и она сама похоже умеют манипулировать пространством, то почему ей нужно самой совершать длинный и опасный путь в поисках этих "артефактов"? Почему она не могла бы например просканировать планету, обнаружить цель и телепортировать её на корабль? Это такой ритуал? - Традиция, или соблюдение неких правил этики (а может заодно и безопасности) по отношению к источникам жизни миров? Или для неё это нечто вроде наказания-искупления. - Когда-то она уже погубила жизнь и теперь должна сохранить частички умирающих миров, чтобы загладить вину? Словом, вроде бы и очень минималистичная история, а даёт огромную пищу для размышления. Интересно, есть ли на все возможные вопросы конкретные ответы, или зрителям разрешена свобода интерпритации? В любом случае было очень интересно, спасибо.

И кстати, действие этого мультфильма происходит в той же вселенной, что и действия "Aera", или в другой?

I love all of these interpretations- especially the "atonement" one! When I was making the story I was thinking in more more emotional/dream-logic terms. The world outside the portal is cold and dangerous, but it also has things that she needs...
