I saw this when it first came out and thought it was sad but today I actually read the newspaper article on the wall. It's even sadder. Bibo is very smart and very lonely. Because of the war, all he has are his memories of the children and his job. 😭

It so greatly depicts the human condition of how we hold onto the past so much that we are able to look past the the destruction and the desolation and suffering and keep trying to relive what once was but will never be again it’s sad but also very thought provoking imo I know people take different things from it but to me this video was very powerful good job

I think the point is he was designed to be "more" caring than a person but he was also designed with a 10k year warranty. Then, slowly over time people basically ruined themselves and the planet. So, he may have his routine but it's not fulfilling because he was designed to serve/provide people and at least in his programmed area - there are no more people.
